The ending flashback is hopefully a bug for those that didnt romance Liara, I hope it is anyway.

It is not a bug. There are only video files for Anderson, Ashley, Kaidan, Joker and Liara in the game folder.

Ashley and Kaidan are obviously forced on us.

Other than Aethyta thinking something is going on between Shep and Liara I never noticed Liara forcing herself on the player, not once except maybe that one time in ME1.

This bug happened to me on my third playthrough. It didn't help that I picked a paragon/renegade interrupt too, which made it look like Shepard was admitting she was Liara's girlfriend.

OP is referring to BioWare not Liara herself.
Simple note...
- Liara is romancable despite not having romanced her before or even rejecting her in Mass Effect.
- Has a fleshed out romance sub plot even compared to say Ashley or Kaiden (she shares more intimate moments compared to either of them)
- She appears on the flashback scene regardless of your non-relationship (this was due to players playing Mass Effect jumpin in on 3 instead of 2 or the first game not a glitch but an oversight).
- Seems to carry a bigger relationship with Javik more than say Garrus/Ashley (actual soldiers; warriors like Javik yet nothing from either of them... think there was one bit with Garrus that was indirect).
- People seem to point out that she had the best sex scene even when it came to the gay romances because she was basically "naked".

I have nothing against Liara but I did felt in my playthrough why I had better intimate moments with her than Ashley, Miranda and Jack and even Tali (face reveal killed the mood for me) and I didn't even actually pursue a relationship with her.

All that matters is the girl (or guy) you actually get with, other people can say what they will. I don't care if people think I'm with Liara, Tali's the only girl for me.

So i am doing the whole relationship thing with ashley at the moment, and I talk to that matriarch in the Presidum commons, and she calls me Liaras boyfriends, SERIOUSLY, i never had a romantic subplot with liara in Me 1 - 3, it was Ashley, Miranda, and now Ashley, and somehow, she thinks Im Liara's boyfriend, wtf ? The writers in this game are REALLY absent minded, I;m telling you.

My non-Liara imports, this doesn't happen.  So I'm pretty sure there's some sort of bug going on.

Never got the final flashbacks near the ending not including the love interest I chose. No Tali?...Are you freakiing serious? I'm bleeding to death and I'm not thinking, even obsessing over her image and memory? Its not like she a minor character either.

I saw Liara during this scene..a past lover (ME1) but for a long time now, just a good friend. Maybe in the comic book she is the main, but this is the game that claims to bend some to my choices, and be the actually story in my little xbox universe. My next male Shepard will go the Liara route, and others too (Jacks, Miranda, Ashley)...But for me the real one will always be Tali. If Kasumi were romance-able, maybe we might be in a bit of a grey area here, but....yeah Tali 100%

You just insinuated that you don't like Liara's preferred treatment in ME3...prepare for every Liara obsessed person to attack you and call you a hater.

I have a character that ran with liara all three games, but this character was Ash, Miranda, Ash, and the fact that she said I was liaras boyfriend  just annoyed me.

If you take the paragon interrupt shepard says "no one messes with my girl" (in reference to Liara)

My guy just said dont even think about it, or something along those lines. I know he didn't say that.

That's because you probably didn't pick the paragon interrupt.
There are two, a paragon and a renegade one and they are not mutually exclusive, so if you pick the paragon and then the renegade Shep says that, otherwise if you only pick the renegade one you just say "don't even think about it"...

I romanced Liara in all my playthroughs back on ME 1, because she was the most interesting character option for romance back there. Now I regret to not have just gone forever alone, because in every conversation in ME 3 she will try to throw herself into you, don't matter how many times you use the "just friends" line, and she become more annoying than Kaidan, what I though was a impossible thing to ever happen.

I talk to that matriarch in the Presidum commons, and she calls me Liaras boyfriends

That's a bug; it's not going to be fixed because Bioware doesn't fix bugs but just asks whiners to perform an anatomically impossible act

If you judge the writing on that, how come you are with the egregiously racist Ash ("I can't tell the aliens from the animals" while talking to an ambassador... )

-Ashley can also be a love interest despite not having romanced her before.
-How do Kaiden and Ashley not have a fleshed out sub-plot? You spend half the game trying to earn their trust, just so you can romance them again.
-The flashback scene is exactly what you said it was: an unintentional oversight.
-It makes sense that Liara and Javik have the bigger relationship, considering Liari has spent however many decades studying Prothean artifacts and culture. She's the only person that really knows anything about where he comes from and what he has lost.
-Whether or not her and Shepard's sex scene is the best is purely subjective. And even if it was the best, then it follows that Bioware is forcing Liaria on the player? I don't think so.

No it's not. If you have people take a shower fully clothed then it breaks the player's immersion, which is objectively bad.

How many times you have to tell her, "yes Liara, we are good friends..." ?
And after you take a pass on banging her countless times, she still has that weird moment near the end... what a weirdo...
Not to mention being in my dreams:huh:

And you have no option to just tell her to "just back the f... off, Alien" either.
At least Javik does it for you :D

Still has nothing to do with Liara or being forced. You could claim the exact same point with Miranda in ME2 and it would be just as credible.

Yes, it is. The scene with Traynor wasn't the only "sex" scene. And the scene you bring up hardly breaks the immersion if you actually sit and consider the situation for a moment. Traynor obviously has a thing for Shepard. If you so do desire, then Shepard also has a thing for Traynor. Shepard gets a hint from Traynor while she's in the shower, boom, it's on. It just shows either how sexually frustrated Shepard has been lately, or how bad she wanted Traynor. Maybe both. Obviously the clothes came off later when the two made it to the bed.
