Description: I have installed NWN 2 several times and tried everything that is recomended. My PC is new so should not have any trouble running the game. In fact the game is running fine, but when i try to run the toolset it crashes right away. I really want to makes some stuff with the toolset! Anyone have some answers?

What do you mean by "tried everything that is recommended"? The list of things you have tried would be helpful. I believe all that is required is installing the right version of .NET, but I'll let someone who actually uses Windows 7 regularly respond.

I'm not sure if I have done that, it says my .net is up to date in the installation. What is the "right version of .net? I have installed the directx 9 recont was the main thing that was recommended but that may have been to get the game to work.

I have gotten the toolset to open now, but after it opens it seems to just stop responding.

I thought that DirectX was for the game and .NET was for the toolset, but perhaps I have that backwards. See this link for more advice about DirectX.
