Thinking of changing my party to:
Wynne (healing, buffs and cc)
Morrigan (cold based dmg/cc, with healing and a buff line)
Myself (paralyze and sleep, with fire dmg spells)
Leliana (lock picking/trap disarming, dual wielding, heavily buffed from my mages)
Any thoughts?

Enjoy breaking the game with insane-easy-mode-o; should be fun.

I'd keep Leliana as an archer just so you have less friendly fire and positioning to worry about. You won't need to buff her if you have more than one mage in the group. And give all of your mages Fireball. It's a lot of AOE burst on a short cooldown.

Remember to get Cone of Cold asap for all your mages, and equip them with some durable shoes. You'll run around spamming coc a lot without a decent tank

You do realize just one mage can keep whole groups of enemies perma frozen with just CoC??? Three CoC is way overkill. Even with one CoC the game is already too easy on nightmare. If you want to make it that easy just turn every mage into an AW and auto attack your way through every single fight in the game (note; one AW can do this by himself. Having three will just make it go faster)

Is this on extra cheese mode?
For any orange mob on nightmare, the freeze effect lasts for about 2 or 3 seconds.

Right. And how many orange mobs do you fight in the game. Not many. Force field the biggest baddie that is likely to resist CoC after a few seconds and CoC the rest permanently. For the four or five fights with multiple orange enemies, you still only need one mage on nightmare. Morrigan does everything for me with force field, CoC, crushing prison, sleep and blood wound. I often find myself just running in rooms with Morrigan alone and soloing entire mobs on nightmare because it's slightly challenging that way. Obviously there are a few fights where this doesn't work so well, but that's why I bring two or three party members with me.
Sure, three CoC would be pretty funny against red bosses but how is that any fun? You could probably perma freeze every boss in the game with three CoCs.

I thought the new patch fixed CoC and FF?
