Btw, the gps is not that easy, especially if lag decides you just did fire some blue fireworks and entirely ignores your hit

I for once would actually like if the autoaim feature would be gone and instead the basic cone be tightened

And everytime i host i take the graal instead, as it suffers to even the slightest lagspike, it is on a hosted match superior to the gps

But i can agree that most who use the gps actually NEED a stupidly powerfull weapon to be of any use indepent of their class choice

*edit*
Gps and graal btw do fail horrible against groups of enemys

You do need to aim for the mail slot from my experience, but it's so brain dead easy people are probably just assuming it's automatic.

My preference of Graal or GPS is depedant on class though. I don't see it as one or the other only. On Asari Vanguard the Graal is the most dominating weapon, also very nice on Batarian Sentinel and Krogan Vanguard.

I actually had one occassion where my GPS would fire straight up at the sky, even though I was aiming at an enemy.

Damn Geth and their physics defying shotguns.

gps is good but nothing competes with the claymore shotgun wise.

when i say automatic i mean the way that pellets lock on to their target when you have one and the way they go off in a v form when you don't have one. and since it locks on to a target there is no point in aiming for the head since the pellets follow the entire target and not a part of it. but nevermind i guess im just another brain dead noob ...

Nobody called you brain dead noob ... In the video you will see that the guardian is the active target .. Pellets do not automatically go to the mail slot if you just have the guardian as an active target... GPS does not ignore guardian shields .. You need TO AIM (in the general direction) of the mail slot ...or their toes ...

I'm not calling anyone brain dead, the gun itself is brain dead.

I use it though :o

I think the graal is more fun to use, but the GPS gives more for less effort.

Granted, the GPS is also infinitely better against armored targets (that have no headshot hitbox).

just to be clear - aiming in the general direction of the slot is what i do and that's why i said "you need to make sure.... etc." in the first place.

I love GPS i've started to use more now its lvl IX i use it on my engineers to great effect normally highest scorer on silver and holds its own in gold too but I find it hard to pop heads with it due to shot tracking it always wants to body shot things.

thats because the pellets went thru the mail slot. its never because it went thru the shield...
Hell, common sense would tell you that's whats happening in those cases. Ur shots don't pierce thru any other surface, not one centimeter, including thin guardian shields.

Only exception to this rule for projectile weapons is the kishock

Hitting the feet or arm does the same thing as slotting.

Hmm maybe,

I dont have a maxed out GPS yet but Ive used it on my new geth Infiltrator and so far it does not shoot through shields except through the slot like other weapons.
I was bitterly dissapointed in fact as I had been looking forward to it because of all the hype.

Maybe if 80 percent of the guns in this game weren't crap, the GPS wouldn't be as popular. Unfortunately, the only other two shotguns of any worth are the Claymore (a single-shot shotgun for short range, which is a major disadvantage) and the Graal (good overall weapon). Using the Graal for long-range headshots is so contrary to the purpose of a shotgun--they're for close and medium ranges. They can still hit targets at a distance, so the Graal's not unrealistic, but most shotguns also pack more than 3 damn rounds in a clip.

Personally? I want a shotgun that works like an actual shotgun, and nothing else is really satisfactory.

dude we are telling you: you can kill a guardian through the shield with GPS. if you don't believe us go try it 10 times and 5 out of those 10 times it will work :P

dude you can kill a guardian trough the shield with ANY weapon 10 out of 10 times ..IF you aim for the mail slot ... Shoting at the shield without aiming will not do it ...

you don't even have to do this, you can shoot them in the feet, too.

GPS doesn't allow headshots at all.
