Recently i finished a marathon run thru me1, me2 and now working on me3 insanity, i have come to a brick wall the team mates will not go where they are told and if they do they will run back and forth from there original spot and not do any damage to the mobs, i targeted a Cerberus guardian and using liara/james to use singularity/carnage{both}  she and james will not move or engage the enemy, and when they actually move on {sanctum map for sp} to kill my target that i ordered to help me take down they will say "i am on it" or okay, and still stand there doing nothing....

i tested this to see if was my xbox by getting my wife's xbox slim and it happened on her's as well and at one point they actually did engage the enemy and once it was down they started to go back and forth from the original point of where you land on the map to where i asked tme to move and even if i move with me they will not move..

for one scary moment i thought my xbox may have been over heating and shut down for a while then played it this morning and it was back to doing the same thing unresponsive teammates, and even worse was they did not even enage the enemy when the mob came in front of them!!!

can you please fix this, i had no problem on mars with kadian and liara but now going to the second or 3rd mission sanctum lab, i have played on normal and casual and now insanity is now with unresponsive teammates

Looks like some LotSB A.I. problems manifest in Mass Effect 3 too.

i actually had no problem with it on me2  lotSB ai this is just really new to me  i think the patch may have done something or to the Ai because they will not engage and when they finally do they will kill then go back and  to being unresponsive it  was nightmare trying to get them to help me kill them

I have had this happen, but lucky for me the enemy AI still attacked them, actually now that I am thinking about it when did happen the enemy AI paid more attention to them which help draw fire away from me. Their powers still worked though.

I wouldn't say it is unplayable. Maybe you should asses your strategy. The AI is actually super easy compared to ME1 and ME2. Even on Insanity, this game is really easy. (Save for the Eva and Marauder Shields part-- those can be a ****)

I had the teammates being unresponsive for a couple of times but they will usually "recovers" after even during the same mission. Used their powers and order them to move around just fine.

Have you tried creating a fresh, new Shepard and test if the same problem exists? Just to test out that maybe this particular playthrough is buggy?

Hmm, I have started my insanity run on ME3, I having problems on Mars with Liara and Kaiden. Then again I think I'm at what Priisus is about Eva, that is driving me insane.

Insanity is so easy on ME3, that unlike ME1 and ME2 I rarely have to use my squadmates.

Good job on reading comprehension with OP's post.

But yeah, seems like the companion AI is pretty much intact from ME2/LotSB. I've had this happen a few times as well - luckily loading a save fixed it for me. Oh well, another issue completely unacknowledged by BioWare.
