Well, it certainly won't solve all my problems with the ending. Will it solve most of my biggest issues (lack of reunion with squad, "galactic dark age")? Not enough information yet to be able to tell.

I hope so.

I am able to forgive a lot (plot holes, shift in narrative themes) as long as they give us an emotionally engaging and satisfactory ending. I felt nothing at the end of ME3 other than depressed at how they missed the mark so wide.

If they don't? Well . . . I can just speculate Dragon Age 3 and Mass Effect 4 in my head and save myself some money if that is how they are going to end a series from now on.

The extended cut will still have my Shepard making one of three racist choices so it can't fix anything. Until there is an option to reject those choices the whole series will feel dirty and racist to me.

I'm going to wait for the Extended Edition and hope that they realize somewhere in the process that the Star Child sequence isn't art. And even if it did work originally, the little glowing brat has become the poster child for everything wrong with the ending.

Hell yes... If it adds epilogue on team, LI (YES, Little Blue (or white or whatever) Children) and galaxy - I'll be happy enough. If not -  then there is no point in it anyway.

Bioware came out and said that it would not change the outcome or give you more choices so I do know that my Shepard will still be forced to maike the three racist choices because someone at Bioware is a racist and wants to use the game to recruit for the KKK.

Then again I guess Bioware could be lying about that since they lied about the ending and not needing multiplayer,so there is always that.

But for now Bioware has said the endings will be extended not that will get new ones so that doesn't solve the problem of the ending feeling racist and making me feel ill.
