My guess however is no, not at all, not even a little bit. If the Catalyst is still a Reaper God Child and Synthesis is still and option then I still think the ending is tainted.

Hitler was the only world leader ever who wasn't a stupid baby living in a dream world of rainbows and candy. I'm sorry but I just don't agree with Bioware's worldview that Hitler was the greatest hero in human history and that racist programs like his will solve the world's problems.  Sorry if this upsets you but that's just the way it is.

Yeah the whole of Mass Effect 3 has just been Hudson wrecking the franchise by going on an ego trip,like Shatner did with Star Trek five.  You notice paramount had the brains to never let Shatner write or direct again after Star Trek 5.

The only way this problem will be fixed and Bioware can be saved is if Hudson is fired.  He is a hack that does not have one ounce of tallent,he hate video games and video gamers and to top it all off his ego is out of controll.

EA you can still save Bioware and not have to sit by and watch as their next few games bomb all you have to do is fire Hudson.

If EA fired Hudson today I would take that as a sign that the problem is being fixed and I would start buying EA and Bioware stuff again.  The only way to save Bioware is to fire Hudson,he is an out of controll hack who is destroying all the hard work everyone else at Bioware does.

Given what they say the EC will do and not do, I'd say "highly impropable".

I cannot give a categorical yes or no without seeing the product, because while I cannot fathom how the ending could be fixed without major changes to it's elements (spaceboy, looking at you), I am not infalliable and am open to being shown wrong. I hope Bioware will show me wrong in this, but I'd be extremely surpriced if they do.

No, it will just be rubbing salt in that festering wounds. An EC, free at that, wont be able t cover up all the flaws with the last part of the game.

They aren't even gonna patch that horrible journal!

I find the endings we have now racist so extending them will not fix the problem for me,sorry if this offends you.

1) A drawn out explanation of how the galaxy is rebooted through a dark age would make things infinitely worse.
2) An explanation how rebuilding is possible would salvage the universe itself. Which is good but not nearly enough.
3) An option to reject starchild and his solutions would salvage Shepard's character. And allow to bypass the biggest issues altogether.
4) Retconning the starchild out of existence may salvage the game.
At this point I'd be happy with option 3.
