So I have installed the toolset. I had some trouble with SQL but it seems I worked around the problem with the wiki FAQ. Still in the end, it seems the toolset is not installed fully.

The toolset windows is named : Dragon Age Toolset v1.0.982.0 Demo
When I make or open a file on the toolset, I have a red warning : Read Only copy, changes can not be saved" : http://i48.tinypic.com/14xm4ok.jpg
And the number of item I can use are really limited.

Here some info of what I did to make sure it should have worked :
I registered on my bioware account every serial I obtained when purchasing the colector version of DA:O.
When I downloaded the toolset, I used bioware's official website. I was logged on the website with my account.
When installing the toolset I was still logged on my bioware account, and I was logged on steam (where I purchased my copy).
I checked the Wiki to see where to find the serial inHKEY in case Steam did not give it to me, the serials found there were already registered on my account.

Here are my specs in case they are needed ; Windows 7 64 bit,  Dual core 3.01ghz, 4 go of DDR2, 2 x1TO HDD in raid 0, GTX 260 XFX OC.

So do anyone has any idea what I should do to get the toolset to be validated as a full version? As it is I can do nothing with it, as it's only "read only" and I can save nothing.

Ps: All I did was installing SQL 2005 I did not do anything else at all with it. I read something about servers, should I use SQL to log on something? Not sure how i would do that though...

Click 'Manage Modules' under the File tab.. Select 'new' or one of the existing options.. basically, remove the option from 'demo' (while in Manage Module options..) and all should be fine :)

The reason it says "Dragon Age Toolset v1.0.982.0 Demo" is because the name of the module you have open is "Demo". It is not a "demo" version of the toolset, since there is no such thing at this time. If you're having read-only resource problems it could be because you haven't checked out that resource. Here is a link to the wiki article that talks about checking in and out resources: http://social.biowar...x.php/Check_out .

It's probably worth while to create a new "Test" module. You can create a new module through the File->Manage Modules window.

Oooh ! Thanks both of you, this is exactly what the problems were :).

And thanks for explaining the check in / check out thingy.
