I'd be curious to see how the ending to Freespace 1 (which bore a few similarities to ME3) would be received were it released today.

1. Preistly is not scared of the pitchforks.
2. Just like today. Some loudmouths would make a mountain out of a molehill while the rest of us went "Hey this needs some work guys. Do better because we know you can"


Now I wanna dig Freespace out because that last battle with the Dreadnaught in hyperspace was epic and made the whole game.

I say give them all the time in the world. 

Yeah, since there is little reason for me to replay ME3 atm I'm all for them taking their time. That they obviously haven't done it for the main game is just a fact we'll have to live with, but maybe they'll actually manage to salvage the ending. So far I've only completely lost any hope in Bioware's PR, the devs and writers still have (some) credit.

If you want a polished ending so that you can enjoy the SP game again, please take part in the Turn it On/Turn it Off for Bioware campaign. We want to show Bioware that we will support them financially if they make a great EC and walk away if they don't. It is civil, free, and has a chance of bringing about a win-win situation for the fans and Bioware. It's not too late to save your Shepard!

Seriously guys BW has been working hard on the DLC...  I think we OWE them a chance at this point.  They read the boards, they know whats being said.  I understand the desire for BG3 but...  thats a pipe dream at this point.  Why on earth would BW abandon DA and ME considering it's IP they own and it's extremely popular!?!  Just the fact that there are so many people ****ing about the ME3 ending will tell you that people are invested in the game...  Look at this point let's be constructive about what we want because this other chatter isn't doing anything except pissing people off.  I mean really...  it's not like BW can tell us exactly whats in the DLC (cause that would just ruin it).  They are hard at work on stuff, when they have news to post they will.  I've seen several twitter posts by the writing team of ME on epic meetings (and believe me if you've ever sat in a 4 hour meeting you know how it is) over the last few weeks.  There is absolutely nothing they can do right now aside what they are doing...  They don't typically comment on EMS issues cause really they really only need to do that when they have a fix (several people have already said they are looking at it so why post more on it...  and even then whats the point of talking about it if you don't have a fix immenant..  spend more time fixing than running fire drills).  

All that said I lost a lot of respect for BW at the onset of this cause lets face it the ending sucked (no need to go on as to why as it's been covered multiple times).  I think they do deserve some credit for admiting there are issues and trying to fix them.  We all complain but look...  if this was ubisoft, or activision, or (insert game publisher/studio here) they would likely say just deal with it.  Heck Valve has had us on a cliff hanger for HL3 for how long???  Valve doesn't even get cupcakes for heavens sake.  While BW is no longer an instant purchase for me, I still respect them and I'm eagerly awaiting what they are gonna do.  

I will see what the extended cut brings to the table (via youtube) because I want to love ME again, but I paid Bioware and I owe them exactly what they owe me...nothing. If they want to keep earning my money, however, they are going to need to rectify this matter to my satisfaction. I won't speak for other people, nor am I saying that Bioware should listen to me just because I want something, but my wallet stays shut until I feel that Bioware has remedied the situation.

They could very easily have left me with the same "meh" feeling I had about ME2's ending if they hadn't treated their upset fans like petulent children. That pisses me off way more than the ending.

My anger has subsided over me3, still very disappointed but will reserve thoughts until the EC is out. After that is DA3... it is a single player game i hope but if it is used to monitize EA through mp and other apps etc. Will they learn or do i move on. I won't support EA. I would support Bioware.

It's sad how we all have come together here because we enjoy Bioware games, and have devided into bickering groups who make no attempt to respect each other's opinions. The atmosphere here is making the BSN a sad place to be for everybody. Why can't we just agree to disagree?

For one, I'd like to see those "Shepard deserves better fans" gone. They are insulting everyone here. One can be a pro-ender without being aggressive towards other fans.

To be perfectly honest, Shepard does deserve better fans, but she also deserves a more in depth ending.

I've pretty much given up hope that the EC will make anything better.
