The Ultimate Renegade. Basically an evil, sadistic, monster that that either disgusts Para!Shep, or grounds Rene!Shep. I want a character that grins a devilish grin, his eyes growing with malice, as he crushes people with biotics, or uses some sort of melee weapon to hack people to bits. I want him to laugh a menacing cackle, and for him to make the Butcher of Torfan look paragon in comparison.

Oh, and he also needs to be voiced by Crispin Freeman doing his Alucard voice.

But just in case; my top 5:

1. Kal'Reegar.

2. Ghost from MW2 (game sucked but he was/looked cool).

1) Duke Nukem , He will destroy the reapers for free after seeing Thessia, nobody messes with Duke's women (and all women are Duke's women). You can't romance any females on the ship tho, not while Duke is on board... Plus Duke deserves to be in a good game for once...in this decade

2) Varric from DA2. Even if the ending sucks balls at least Varric can make up a fun/exciting story to tell in the next game. Varric + Garrus is also Bro-level = MAX .

HAHAHA Thessia would be a pretty tight vacation spot.  And if Duke followed you up to the citadel at the end he'd probably punt the space kid.

Or maybe Gillian Grayson, because then you can make about 18 different references to Firefly. Of course, that's provided that they fix Deception so the main cast don't all just die pointless deaths.
Gillian DLC could have you face off against the Paul Grayson clones TIM was apparently having made in Deception.

A female Krogan. We saw how tough Eve (Bakara) was on Tuchanka, because there's got to be at least one on Tuchanka who wants more out of life than little Krogan babies, and after you cure the Genophage, all Krogan female are fertile, so it's more likely they'll want to leave the planet.

Besides, it'd make a refreshing change from Wrex and Grunt's brutish mentalities.

Why not rachni squadmate? That would be pretty interesting. Sure he woudnt have any weapons, apart from powers and melee. For dialogue - telephatics and so on... That would also make a lot of interesting dialogue, especially if kill Rachni queen.

Oh, and I'd absolutely like a krogan addition to the team, really miss Grunt. Maybe a mercenary battlemaster like Wrex... Or just "close and personal" soldier (for example survivor from Aralakh company).

Geth squadmate (since we get Tali as quarian side), some Prime replacing  the Legion. I would love it. May even get fine plot with "bits and pieces" of Legion's original code appearing in it .

Here's what would be my perfect squadmate.

A crazy Cerberus experiment named who broke free and now kills Cerberus dudes. He would get along with the crew and other squadmates though he would laugh in combat if he kills someone. And, he would dissapprove of Paragon diplomacy sometimes or Shepard not taking a renegade interrupt in a mission.

Weapons: Assault Rifles and Sniper Rifles (Is it just me or do squadmates need to be more effective with sniper rifles? I think they should get a patch)
Powers: Shadow Strike (Unlike Kasumi, he uses a knife which deals more damage), Overload, Sabotage, Assassination (Comeback from ME1. With Assassination, the next shot from a weapon will deal 50% more damage than it usually does and accuracy will be increased. Can be evolved to deal more damage and offer more shots available.)

Edit: i would mind seeing Sir Daniel Fortesque again incernerator, but not in ME.........though he'd make a hilarious cameo in DA3.

I thought that having a Batarian squadmate would have been a really good squadmate to have in terms of dialogue and expanding the story. It could have also resulted in some really interesting side missions involving him where you have to help out Batarian worlds that are still holding out against the Reapers etc. It would also give you a great insight into the Batarian culture etc.

My all time favourite squadmate from all the games was Legion. I loved how at first you were mistrusting of him though if you gave him a chance he would give you an amazing insight into the Geth. When you concluded the Geth/Quarian story arch I felt we should have had Tali or a Geth platform (preferably Legion) as a squadmate, or if you made peace between the two then both are available as squadmates. I loved fighting alongside a Geth and missed it in Mass Effect 3.

I would have loved to have a Krogan as a squadmate in Mass Effect 3 as well, In the first game we had Wrex, in the second we had Grunt. I would love to see either Grunt or Wrex become on of your squadmates in Mass Effect 3 or we get another Krogan as a squadmate. I was a bit disappointed that we couldn't have a Krogan, I miss seeing one charge through the battlefield ripping everything apart.

More biotics! We get Liara and Kaiden as possible biotics, and Javik if you get the DLC, but that's it? In my first playthrough I only had Liara as I saved Ashley in Mass Effect and I didn't get the DLC straight away. I would have liked to see some more biotics in Mass Effect 3, so I don't have to take Liara everywhere should I not want Javik or have Kaiden. Just one more Biotic would be nice.

Another character could be a Salarian. We only ever had one Salarian squadmate, Mordin in Mass Effect 2 and it could be cool to have another one. I would love to have Mordin back, I think his death was the most emotional death I've ever experienced in a video game, next to Legion. I'd love to see another Salarian, though maybe they could be a little bit better in combat than Mordin was? Please?
