But not unexpected. There is enough material here to indicate a rushed product schedule, but :
1) BioWare/EA can never admit it because they have to face their stockholders and they would have to explain why they did so, which is a prime case of Corporate CYA if I've ever seen one.
2) it looks like we may have a possability of Prima Donna Lead Dev....or a Lead Dev force BY EA to rush the ending out (I will be fair to Casey).
3) An Ending DLC: This is an utterly aborrent concept to me. Why not make a complete story (yes, you heard me complete), and then as DLC, kinda like what they did for ME2. Side Story DLCs or equipment DLCs. That way you make a pleasing story with many varied endings and the DLC adds additional content to breadboard things out. You get to keep your reputation as a good game maker, the Fans are happy, Your bottom line is happy, and future prospects look bright.
Instead, you have an unmitigated disaster because someone rushed things.
