Jack fighting (shakes): No
A arena fight where you just have to hold of waves and waves of enemies (shakes): Yes
A clear ending that makes sense (shakes): ask again later

What a waste. I just wish they had the balls to admit they screwed up. Again.

This degree of hubris doesn't just go away. They will continue to think we're just too stupid to get their Really Profound Ending, and continue to express their thinly veiled contempt for us. Because that degree of hubris doesn't just go away. Especially not when it's filtered through Marketing Damage Control™.Elastica wrote...
They won't fix anything. They made it very clear that there won' t be any new gameplay content, just a couple more half-assed cinematics to expand on the utter fail.

I hate to say it, but this much cut content brings to mind a particularly nasty possibility; that EA/Bioware was always intending on releasing the true ending via paid DLC.

I wouldn't rush to assume that they wanted all of this content but were forced to cut it due to time/budget constraints or whatever. It's just as likely that they considered the possibility but finally made the decision not to include it.

It's clear they they are taking part in the final battle o.O VERY interesting, so Bioware DID plan to show our squadmates in the final battleLet's hope it gets restored in EC
EDIT: Just to be clear, this ain't mine. Credit goes to our very own one and only Vertigo
There's also cut Geth Prime appearance in London:------------------------------------Hellfire257 wrote...
There's similar combat chatter from a Geth Prime as well. Here's the naming if anyone is interested:

Looking at leaked script, it seems like they were also planning (in early stages at least) to have an UI (user interface) where we would be assigning our War Assets during the battle, Suicide Mission-style:Now I can't wait for EC even more! Summer hurry up!CUTSCENE:
A second Reaper fleet arrives in orbit of Earth. Harvesters start launching from the Reapers, and descend towards earth in a massive swarm.
Conversation:
Shepard / Hackett / Anderson decide to move quickly to organize a defense to hold off the Reapers in orbit from reaching the Citadel and to keep the Harvesters away from the London facility.
GUI:
Hammer resolution: summary of performance of the Hammer striketeam and casualty report.
Shield planning: assign strike teams for orbital and planetary operations to defend against the Reaper counterattack.
WAIT, WHAT? Hey, dude. Uh, you do realize that all of this is evidence of a rushed product right? If they had spent like another year on the game, I have no doubt it would have been excellent compared to the mediocre product we got. And I'm pretty sure they're not putting this stuff back in. EC is for the ending. Not Priority Earth I'm pretty sure. They're not gonna add these parts of the game back in. They didn't for Mass Effect 2.

What they said and what they do are two different things. We already know they (Bioware, not the staff) are liars so maybe it will work in our favour this time.

From Jack's dialog it seems her biotic squad was going to be there too.
You know, the one where you decide if they should fight on the front lines or not, implying that they were actually going to freaking matter in the final battle.
Yes, would ahve been nice to see the people you worked so hard to help actually help like ME2 everyone had a part in the battle

They were never doing any endings DLC for ME2. Plus, they can add whatever they want starting from Cerberus Base since you get bumped back before that mission after you finish the gameJedifan421 wrote...

Sorry, I meant to say they didn't put back cut dialogue back in Mass Effect 2. Also, I've been able to start from a checkpoint from once you get in the Citadel during the endgame everytime. You get bumped back if you beat the game but you can reload from the checkpoint.
In the end though, I'm a realist. Hoping for the best but expecting the worst.

Damn, hope some of this gets revived in the EC.
Reusing assets can't hurt.

A more interesting and exciting battle goes in the plus column, but yes, the mess most likely remains in the end, with clarity.Oldbones2 wrote...
While this greatly saddens me, the unfortunate themes and choices of the ending bother me far more.

But everything's better with Kinect!
For example, if I bash one Kinect sensor with another Kinect sensor, I destroy both. It's therefore better.
