So we got multiplayer and Jessica Chobot instead?

Fixed that for ya.
Some of Allers files files are named JES and jessica, mostly textures. the game was so rushed that they didn't even have time to cover their tracks, ha!
And I have a bad feeling that Aller's was supposed to be Wong, then they got rid of Wong to please IGN. ****.

And they still stand by the fact they weren't rushed and that the game was all they could have done. Sure.

Rule of thumb: Apparently a horde mode cash-cow MP is more important than telling the best story you can tell, creative vision right there.

Looking at leaked script, it seems like they were also planning to have a UI to assign War Assets during the battle, Suicide Mission-style:

CUTSCENE:
A second Reaper fleet arrives in orbit of Earth. Harvesters start launching from the Reapers, and descend towards earth in a massive swarm.

Conversation:

Shepard / Hackett / Anderson decide to move quickly to organize a defense to hold off the Reapers in orbit from reaching the Citadel and to keep the Harvesters away from the London facility.

GUI:

Hammer resolution: summary of performance of the Hammer striketeam and casualty report.

Shield planning: assign strike teams for orbital and planetary operations to defend against the Reaper counterattack.

Woah... That's awesome. I'd have adored that final battle if you could position war assets in the battle. Probably asking too much for that to be in the EC though? :(

If BioWare's promises about it were trustworthy, it shouldn't be.
And they've said that they had planned to do the EC since the start, which hints that EA rushed BW. So hopefully all of that incomplete feeling will be wiped away, and what ME3 should've been will be restored.
Hopefully.

But has BioWare been trustworthy at all in last two years? >_>

Urhm, what exactly can they say? They can't exactly release a "EA sucks!!!11" statement

it's hilarious that they stick to that line, when that's way worse than being rushed. If priority earth was everything they wanted it to be then obviously Bioware is just beyond redemption.

why not? At this point it couldn't do much more damage than what's been done. EA might actually benefit from admitting they effed up and apologizing.

I know, I'm saying what does EA have to lose by releasing a statement like that. And EA can't just fire them because bioware isn't a them it's a brand that EA has invested a huge sum of money in. If anything they should be concerned with trying to salvage the reputation of that brand.

I really want to see them try and justify their "artistic vision" with us now knowing the endgame was this butchered.

I just cannot believe how much content was left on the table. It's truly saddening to see all of this stuff just sitting there, unrealized. Stuff that would've vastly improved the game.

This would've been epic, but I hope they would've had these kinda scenes with Miranda, Samara, and maybe Kasumi as well.
It'd be nice if the extended cut fixes this, but I don't expect it to.

I'm calling it now, BioWare will be the first company to charge for extra dialogue DLC.

Just another handful of proof that the ending was rushed and butchered due to time constraints

It's what EA does best.

Just an FYI bioware is not subsidiary they are a wholly owned division of EA. There is no separation of Bioware and EA, there is EA, and one of it's divisions is Bioware. Bioware is just a brand name EA owns, they are not an entity unto themselves.

BTW, Grunt catapulted into one of my favorite characters in ME3 after being subpar to me in ME2. These lines of his are epic.

This could salvage priority Earths flaws. But what about the new protagonist/antagonist StarChild? Will they give the players back their rpg elements of the game or will it still be static dialogue and misplaced pseudoconudrums?
