WRONG. It is I, a random nobody here, who disagress with you. And it is in my meaningless opinon, which is fact, that the journey is more important, and that the endings to journies are meaningless.
It is in my subjective opinion, that the end of a journey does not matter, because all it does is mark the beggining of a new one. Going on a roadtrip and finding out the place you wanted to go sucked, you must still make a journey back to your previous destination.
Endings mean nothing because all they do is act as breaks between more journies. And it is my opinion as some guy on the internet who thinks he's right, that you are far too angry all of the time.
Ending matters a whole hell of a lot if that ending is a firey car crash where everyone dies and your loved ones at home never get to see you again

Diablo3 has expansions planned, I believe, but they can't screw it up too badly, can they? SC2 WOL's ending was B quality, Diablo's should at least make B+
Mind you Diablo 1 was the benchmark for terrible endings back in it's day.

Not always true. A dreaded destination can make the journey uncomfortable, in turn, not fun.

Bask in the mighty 2012 terrible ending WoW style!
Youtube comments say it best
Well comparing it to the ME3 ending which for me is a much more emotional series, the WoW ending to Cata isn't really all that bad. ME3 ending however....there is no words.

Hopefully Rockstar got their "protagonist dies" itch out with RDR, although I must say it was done well and fit the story so I didn't mind.
I just didn't like Marston's son's voice. "Move, you dang nag!"
You didn't play LA Noire, did you?

Than it will be thier journey to find my burned and mangled body, and to reconcile their greif with the need to move on and live their life now that I am dead.
It will be touching and a true story of emotional hardship and strength. And some executive somewhere will read about it on a blog, or in a newspaper and turn it into a hallmark movie, and give nothing to my greiving loved ones.
And so the endless cycles of everyones journey continues, no one man's death or horrific event can stop all the journies all over the world from occuring.

FF13-2 had a great ending, in a very bleak, depressing, cliffhanger-y way. Hopefully 13-3 will pick up the story from there. The Angry One wrote...
There was also FF13-2.
And it was explained...Ciaus and Yeul told you what was going to happen and they were rather hamsfisted about it... you know..showing A Yeul die then showing Serah with the exact same symbol in her eye... yeah.
13-2 =/= Mass Effect 3 are not equal or comparable in anyway.

Hopefully the really bad ending doesn't happen in December
All games from this point on will have terrible endings till the final end comes to us all!
Then the new age will begin. Nothing will change actually except for EA collapses (yes it was just the end of EA) and suddenly all games that come out after will have awesome endings. The new age of awesome ending video games will begin!

Resident Evil's plot jumped the shark around the time of Code Veronica anyway.
Is still enjoy playing the games though. Except for RE5, my god. RE4 is my favorite game of all time though.

Hopefully ExistenceWare will listen to the fans, but I think I heard that Lead Designer God said that their will be DLC for RL that will expand on the choices on Day One Release.

I would, but I still haven't seen the season 2 finale, and the spoilers that will be there are abound. Also I'm not entirly sure they are immune to this ending rage. Been seeing a lot of pinkie pie deserves a better ending banners and pony related avatars bashing the endings, even got spoiled as to what character was revealed in the season 2 finale, so even the general and story boards aren't free of pony spoilers.

The sad thing is im the one usually saying this. And yet even im at a loss for words.
Mass effect 3 just went from speculations / possible indoc / possible scientific clarifications / hidden meanings........
To another Kotor 2
Corporate meddling ruins yet another potential classic
Space kid is broken, not because of a failing of our logic, but because the devs ran out of time/money and didnt give him or the ending the same treatment as the rest of the game.

Every car journey is the same, but the one that ends with you dying in flames changes the entire feel of that last journey.

It is actually much smaller than that. The average is 1 in 10 finish.
http://www.industryg...s-ndash-report/
Some places like IGN claim it is as high as 1 in 5.
Mass Effect 2 is said to have 50% completion rate, so I can bet ME3's is close to that or lower. With Multiplayer and word of mouth saying the ending is bad I would say it is much lower.
