No - literally. When they get up in your face, and you realize you're stuck behind a table. You try to push past them as usual, but they just stand there. Somehow you're stuck. You break into a cold sweat, wondering if this is where your "journey ends." Then you accidentally click on one of them and they make some asslancing comment you've heard 18 times before.

Get out of my way.

"You remind me of a pirate we lost in a hurricane."

Move.

"I enjoy following you."

Please!

"I think Bianca's gotten scratched."

You have no choice. You have to delete the entire game. Then you have to return it to the store. And the clerk at the store gives you a questionable look, judging you, wondering just what happened. You snap and grab the Dragon Age 2 disc from the game box, break it in half, and stab him in the eye. You go to jail. You used your one phone call to tell your neighbor to run next door and turn off your xbox - otherwise it will burn the TV screen. Your life is ruined when your companions get in the way...

Or you could select the idiot that is blocking your way and move him far, far away.:wizard:

If you got all the way to "I enjoy following you" without anyone in your way, you were getting on pretty well! ;)

actually, the DA buddies are a LOT better than the Skyrim buddies.

Don't even get me started on the Skyrim dogs, they would never shut up :pinched:.

I just click on the one in the way and move them. Although OP's solution was much funnier and more imaginative.Posted Image

Oh, god, Skyrim's companions. And let's not even go into the pathing issues so many quest-required companions have. Karliah and Brynjolf in Blindsighted, anyone? "GET OUT OF THE WATER YOU IDIOTS AM I GOING TO HAVE TO SPEND FIFTEEN MINUTES SLOWLY SHOVING YOU INTO THE RIGHT PATH- yes, yes I am. By the Nine, I hate you all."

Compared to Skyrim, DA2 has no issues there at all. XD

Nothing's as bad as Fable when it comes to people swarming you. Think one person blocking your path is bad? Try waking up to find the entire population of a town stood in your bedroom.

The horror.

lol Fable. The people follow you straight into your house - yep. Also if you stand out on the street and belch or dance (etc) they swarm you with love and hate.

Assassin's Creed? Anyone? The baggers and the drunk people on the streets, IMO they are among the most annoying NPCs in any game I've played.

The difference with the beggars and drunks in AC is, they're intended to be obstacles - they're there specifically to give you a challenge - to make it harder to avoid drawing attention to yourself, by tripping on them and/or punching them every time they get in your face. So annoying as they may be, it's not quite the same thing, since it's deliberate behavior.

But still quite, quite annoying, yes.
