I recently purchased the UE of dragon age used. I already have the original dragon age. When I went to redeem the code to download the DLC it told me that it had been used - as is to be expected.

I decided therefore that I would use Origin to install the game using the registration code, I had to unistall the original DA:O to do this.

The install was about 10gb  bigger than the original so obviously the DLC is included - will I however be able to use the DLCs that I'm downloading? Or will someone else having played the game stop me from doing this?

Examine the descriptive block on top. When this was a popular game, many game players were in here swapping suggestions with one another. Neither Bioware nor EA made regular visits to the place, and Bioware stopped doing so after the first patch. Nearly a year ago, the weather turned nice around the northern hemisphere, and almost all of the Americans, Canadians, and Europeans went outdoors in their spare time.

Game forums are bad weather phenomenons. Last fall, a small handfull of experienced gamers returned to some of the Social Forums. Only ME3 has had much in the way of activity. Now, the few who have been here are already departing.

Official Support has always been handled by EA. Personally, I won't buy any game software that isn't both on a disk, and free from constant apron string restrictions (Origin, Steam). I can't help you.

It's not a matter of downloading... the UE contains all the DLC on the second disc.  The question is, will the game *authorize* that DLC? It may only authorize what's associated with your account.

Some people have reported being able to access the DLC on used copies after installing the 1.05 patch, but I have my doubts.  To be sure, as Gorath said, you can ask at help.ea.com.
