i usually know the lvl of my teamates just looking at their weapon selection or rank for each class rather than by their n7 ranks..if seen some bizarre things like a lvl 700 krogan soldier just with geth SMG...and of course human vanguards with widow-jabelin...or a class like adepts that supposedly should be using tons of powers equiped with 2 heavy weapons...
if they say only players with >300n7 rank can play next weeks operation, then count me out that weekend cuz im not promoting any character at all

I only care about N7 ranks when I see that rare animal N71 in a lobby and think, "Cool, we can help this guy level up, let's do our damnedest to revive him so he doesn't get frustrated and quit."
I promote because I like to respec and try different builds/races/classes/weapons. Respec cards are cool and all, but how many of those do you actually get x how many matches you play? For me, not that many.
I get respec cards quite often. Not everyone does, I know, but a lot of us do.

I don't like promoting, I want my classes at max level for playing gold.
I don't care about raising my N7 rank.
If I want to respec I'll play another character and wait for a respec card, I get them quite often anyway.

I dont play singleplayer: Dont need War Assets.
I have respec cards: Dont need to relevel.
I only like/play three characters: Human Adept,Human Engineer,Human Soldier.(although I do have most the race/classes unlocked)
Im fine with being kicked from Public Gold matches,I have 100 ME3 players on my friends list that will accept me for Gold. =)

You sir hate war assets.
I got the best on war assests without a single promote. and I forum lurk a lot, so I already know my builds for every class by heart tweaked by my playstyle. lol.

I don't ever promote (apart from that weekend event) because I basically don't care about the "journey" (grinding) whatsoever, as what truly matters is getting where you want or need to be at.
It's sort of pointless, I've assigned most of my skills correctly on my first try, why would I even try promoting them? Not to mention the negative skill points bug.
...and I don't need war assets, I'm not sure why YOU need it at all. It doesn't really change anything. :innocent:

If i had ~100 promotes, 1 promote = 75 War assets? 750 war assets. Will this be the starting number?

So the only good thing in promoting is a small reward for playing this game a lot. Better than playing and just only stuff which I dont need.

I've promoted 10 or 11 times so far.
