After playing Dragon Age, I just had to speak up and say thank you to all of you at Bioware.  Once again, you've built a game that reminds me of all the best reasons why I love this hobby.

No other company has given me as much pleasure from games as you have, from way back with Baldur's Gate (I and II) and Neverwinter Nights right through Knights of the Old Republic and up to Mass Effect and now Dragon Age.  Not only that, but you've made games that have literally stopped me in my tracks to think about the choices I'm making, even if I'll only ever try to do the right thing.

You've made me care about these fictional creations, and that I think is one of the highest compliments I can pay.  I've laughed along with a space hamster, been touched to share a blanket with Aerie, been shocked that I couldn't save everyone in Mass Effect, not to mention the startling revelation in KotOR.

Back here in Ferelden, I'm about to go to war with an Archdemon, and I've just said my farewells to the people who've had my back over the last 55 hours or so.  They may not be real, but I'm proud to have gotten to know them all the same.

So thank you.  Thank you for creating a game that lives up to expectations for adults, with themes and storylines that go beyond the more common mentality that "games are for kids", and thank you for creating worlds that help inspire me in my own creative endeavours.

Wherever you go next, I'll be along for ride.

I liked this blend of NWN, MA and KOTOR. I've never played BG (don't hate me), but if it's like this, I might see what I can do about that.
