I do not understand the bagging on Shockwave in this thread. HA has rapidly become my favorite class in the last few weeks, mostly due to what I can do with it. I will admit it loses a lot of its utility on a Novaguard or BSent, but still:

-It goes through anything - cover, walls, floors, you name it. Warp a mob at the bottom of the ramp on Giant, take the 2 seconds during CD to run around the corner, then throw it through the wall. Boom.

-It affects every enemy it hits along its travel path, meaning you can stagger entire groups and put chokepoints on lockdown for your teammates. Not to mention that it will set off any primed combos it happens to encounter along the way.

-Rank 6 Warp + Rank 6 SW (with both powers specced for BEs) is the most powerful BE in the game. It stops Brutes in their tracks and takes down at least half of their life bar, regardless of difficulty.

IMO, the worst power is Pull. At least with Singularity you can throw it at a shielded enemy, strip its shields (or have a teammate strip them), and the mob will get picked right up for further shooting or BE detonation with Warp at range or Shockwave close up. (This is very effective on Phantoms who decide to try their "talk to the hand" pose, leaving you free to shoot their barriers off.) Not to mention it affects multiple mobs if they're in a tight group, and can be left as a trap for unsuspecting husks/troopers to walk into.

Pull has the same limitations Singularity has minus the benefits I just mentioned above, and the only place it beats it is instant Guardian shield removal. Meh.

Singularity is my choice for the worst power, followed by Blade Armor.

Singularity for me. I'm not much of an Adept player to begin with, though.

Grenades are far from useless. There's zero cooldown, some of them have ongoing stacking damage, and all those basically useless e-clip consumables you've got stored up instantly refills your stock if you can't get to another ammo box to resupply. Now with increased grenade capacity, its ummm-ummm good.

I can't believe I said lift grenades before - I guess that was before the buff. Now with the gear too, they're awesome.

But worst power award has to go to the QFE's sentry turret.

Singularity at least serves a purpose on the human adept(s), cryo blast is very good, pull is good if you know how to use it, submission net is awkward but works. Sentry Turret is very underwhelming.

Sticky Grenades seem to be terrible. I've tested them over and over again, and they don't seem to stick to the right places.

Singularity, Shockwave, Quarian turret, And Geth Flame turret (On gold anyway, the turrets die to fast but the healing turret is great)

I go with Singularity, I would choose the Submission Net but I never paid enough attention to understand it, it must have a secret I don't know yet.

Defense of tech armour - When used offensively, i.e. taking advantage of the burst, its very useful.

I admit given the chance I would change sticky grenades on the HMI and QFI for arc grenades without a second thought.

When defence is maxed out, you get 50% damage reduction. That's nothing to sneeze at.

Singularity and Pull for their inability to affect shielded targets, Quarian Turret for its low damage especially when compared to the Geth Turret which also heals.

Marksmanship = turn your gun to a weapon of mass destruction. Nope, definitely not the worst power.

Mobs are too busy shooting me to bother. Husks would probably shoot me too if they had guns.

Or you can get 40% DR and 30% additional power damage with only 20% cooldown increase (basically nothing if you have close to 200% reduction).  Since the recent Tech Armor buff, Human Sentinel is now my favorite character.

Stay away from Tech Armor - it is absolutely epic:). You lose like 0.07 seconds from cooldown of your powers and get a ton of hp, 30% power damage bonus and panic button.
For me, worst powers are:
1) Pull. No effect against armored or shielded enemies at all - what you supposed to do with it?
2) Singularity. Yeah, it looks pretty funny and goes "boom" in the end sometimes, and that's it.
3) Quarian turret. It shoots, it explodes. Nothing more.

You do get invincibility frames while using it, half blast allows you to retain half of your shields, even if you lost your shields the shield-gating is still in effect and it also detonates biotics. That and any shield lost can be regained by Charge right away since Nova has no cooldown. It's not the worst power by a long shot.
