Well, now that the dreaded GPS nerf hasn't happened and proxy mine is actually buffed, I'm off to respec my GI. So long, BW, it's been a good run but I'm getting bored of sniping.

So, the singularity changes were pointless.

You want to make singularity/human adepts a semi decent choice? Make it so that the detonation "500 damage" actually goes off when you self biotic detonate it, rather than just have it run out. The raw group damage you would get from that, might make it worth the time you have to spend stripping shields.

The Eviscerator is now lighter than the usual Katana when they're both at X....

There are a lot of things that need to be fixed with this multiplayer and in relation to that, this is a very underwhelming update.

That could be said about every balance change. Everything is either left untouched or barely touched at all. If it sucked at release, it still sucks now.

and it still sucks. An ultra rare shotgun shouldn't be worse than all 3 rare shotguns.

They just buffed my favorite shotgun? Not that the Eviscerator even needed it, but hey, I'll take it.

It's arguable worse than the uncommon ones.

I just played a Silver match using a Hurricane on my Turian soldier. It actually went well, I managed to get first place, and with only two players so I definetly held my own. The only thing I don't like is the small clip size. It's base 40, but the ROF makes it feel like 15. I guess I'll use the heat sink and capacity upgrades rather than the barrel and heat sink, which is what I was using.

I really don't understand how it's been so long and nothing has been done about the Wraith. You could literally, no exaggeration, double its damage and it still wouldn't be overpowered. Very powerful, yes, but not broken-OP.

When you can look at one of the rarest, most difficult to obtain weapons in the game and say with complete honesty that its damage could be literally doubled without overpowering it, you have a big problem.

When weeks pass and you do nothing about it, you have a huge problem.

What it realistically needs is a damage buff of about 50%. But judging by all the trifling, tiny, meaningless changes that are being made to weapons that suck, we might not see a Wraith worth using 'till Mass Effect 4.

It was last month and it was so minor that it almost doesn't count.  For an N7 that is supposed to be superior to the Evisc. in every way other than clip size, it sucks.

No it was last week.

and the Eviscerator still doesn't do as much as the Wraith does per shot. It isn't even close, even considering the buff. The Wraith could use a buff, but the Eviscerator is still worse than it.

My mistake, thought it was the March 27th update.

Level for level?  Absolutely, but I don't see many having a Wraith X kicking around and with the way the store works, I doubt you'll see them in the near future either.  I think we're in agreement that the Wraith needs a little more love for an N7 though.

PS: I've always loved the Eviscirator.

That would make it hit harder than the Claymore, have twice the clip size, half the reload duration, and 50% more accuracy.

It needs to not be worse than the Claymore/GPS which are gold shotguns, but doubling the damage would make it hilariously overpowered and "broken".

Well, even at rank I the Wraith hits harder per shot than a Eviscerator X does post-buff.

But yes, I think almost everyone agree's that the Wraith does need some kind of love, we all just think it's varying amounts of love.

It needs to be at least on par with the aformentioned guns, but play differently.  The two shot capacity doesn't bother me, but it needs to be able to be fired very quickly and have a quicker reload speed.  The damage and weight are FINE when you level it.  Good luck on actually making that happen though,

At level X it would hit harder than the Claymore, yes. At level 1 it would hit around 200 points less than a Claymore X, about as hard as a charged GPS shot (give or take). Judging by current damage scaling by level, it wouldn't overtake a Claymore's damage 'till level V or VI.

Given its rarity, I wouldn'tt call that overpowered. I wouldn't call it particularly fair either, but game breaking? No.

Of course, I'm not really calling for its damage to be doubled. I was using it as an example of how badly it needs attention.

Still loving how the N7 Eagle is one of the LOWEST dps weapons in the game. Only beat by Falcon (AoE makes this moot) and Viper. If you account for rarity and difficulty upgrading it is the absolute worst weapon in multiplayer.

Significantly lower than EVERY other pistol and SMG.

Was this weapon designed to be so overpowered that it actually broke the measurement system and started over at 0?

Looks like the Hurricane is now the best automatic weapon in the game. Nice move, Bioware.

I'm more mad that most pistols are more effective and lighter than the automatic assault rifles.

As a gi i am torn with the prox mine buff, we just cleared gold faster then usualy as i got to debuff even greater groups and a couple awkward prox mine/techburst kills, as a rabid pm/gi i find the buff welcome but not needed

My revenant never mowed that well.....

Another miniscule power buff for Soldiers. The problem is that the class is not as power dependent as other classes. So put the buffs where they matter the most, passive weapon bonuses. Tacking on another 5% or so in each of the weapon skills will make the class stand out as superior with weapons.
