I failed miserably with any romance in all 3 games.

I didn't talk to Ash or Liara enough in ME1 to get a romance. I tried to romance Tali in ME2, but (for reasons I can no longer recall) I told her it was probably best if that didn't happen. Alas, she was the only woman for me, and she chose Garrus over me in ME3.

It's quite sad when shepard wakes up before the final Cerberus base mission, and he looks at the empty spot in the bed and kind of looks like saying "Oh ya, that's right. No one likes me "

Am I alone in my complete Mass Effect virginity? Because Shepard is always...so...very...alone.

Y'know, if I want to find out if other people didn't romance anyone, this probably isn't the place to ask...

My Shepard was in the same boat as yours until the very end so I can empathize. Virgin Shepards FTW!

Well, not exactly mass effect virginity, but my Shepard did end up completely alone thanks to Kai Leng.

Then Kaidan friend zoned her, but honestly that was the best friend zone ever.

All that was left was a parade of lesbian romances and she's straight.

But you can romance Liara, Ashley/Kaidan, Cortez, Allers in ME3. My Shepard didn't romance anyone in ME2. But she/he had one night grabbing and black screen after LotSB

I already turned down Liara, so the only one left was Cortez. Not that I'd ever dot that, but I also kind of ignored him most of the game because I didn't realize he hid behind the shuttle.

So he died in my playthrough. Shepard didn't even yell STEEEEEVE! for me.

I've never romanced anyone, at least not with my canon Shep. Most of the options seemed fine as friends, but that was where my interest stopped. Not to mention, the few characters I did have an interest in were unavailable.
I don't really mind, to be honest. I have fringe tastes; it's a rare game indeed that caters to them.

Allers-not if you're a dude
Ashley/Kaiden-not if you didn't romance 'em in ME1 (Like Tali, the heartbreaker :crying:)

Cortez-I'm not into that sort of thing

Liara-Was never interested. Friend zone relationship all the way.

I didn't romance Kaidan in ME1 and he asked me for more in ME3 :?
Allers for FShep only ? I didn't know that.

Yep. You ask her to play chess in the bed with you and she says no, and "Didn't you notice I found EDI's voice attractive?"

Think you're confusing names there ol' boy. Allers is the reporter chick played by Jessica Chobot who has nothing to do with chess and is available for both males and females.

Traynor your comm specialist is a chess enthusiast and is sadly, female only. Still, found I rather enjoyed her company nontheless.

The only female that came close to getting it on with my Shep is Diana Allers. I looked at her face and kicked her out of my quarters.

Yeah the "waking up alone in bed" scene is freaking awesome!

The empty bed scene was well thought out, except for the fact that my Shep got it even though he was in a relationship. Sadly, I chose an ME2 LI (Jack) and therefore got seriously short-changed.

I don't see how you could mess up a relationship in a videogame.

Literally the only thing you have to do in Mass Effect to get laid is to pick all the paragon options. ****es love paragon.

How do you not do Ash? Back in ME1 times, I accidently romanced Ash. I just wanted to be nice. Only way I got out of that was calling her grandpa a ****.

In ME3 it doesn't matter what past romance you had, so long as you haven't locked in and reaffirmed to the one you want the other LIs (or at least the Citadel confessions) will let their feelings be known to you. If you locked in on Liara before having that lunch with Kaidan the interactions are different.

I lol'd IRL.

I thought about doing a full no-romance playthrough but then I ran into Ash on Eden Prime again and...well. Yeah.

I have a forever alone Shepard.
My first ME playthrough I was romancing Kaidan but left him on Virmire because I was interested to see my emotionally distressed Shepard (she turned out to not really care) and to see a matured Ashley. When Ash said I should have left her behind, I could only think, 'You're right.'
In ME2, I played this Shep twice, the first girl caught Garrus, and what a catch! Second playthrough I tried paragon romancing Samara. ;_; Everyone knows how that turned out. The biggest slap in the face was this ME3 import where it says No one romanced.
In ME3 this lonely FemShep was hoping for Joker, but willing to settle for Vega. The first time I saw Joker in his chair I could tell by his character model and dialogue that he was not going to be an option, so started flirting with Vega. Then Joker's at Purgatory and you have a dialogue option, 'What about us?' And then he goes on to explicitly state how he would not sleep with you. Then Vega 'Was just.'
"That's what I thought." My poor bitter, lonely FemShep. She picked blue, having nothing left to live for.

I have forever alone Sheps too. All my FemShep's couldn't resist that drell assassin. And well, we know how that turns out. Because all mine were actually in love and not lust, they chose to remain alone until they made the sacrifice.

Heh. No, not with Tali. One of the paragon options in one of her converstaions in ME2, paragon is to break up with her because she's having second thoughts. Neutral is to stay with her.
