Will deleting the account from the delete account tab of account settings result in permanent loss of all registered games and purchased or redeemed DLC's?

Redeemed codes are permanently lost. I don't know if deleting an account frees up a game code as I think unregistering does.

Getting a Bioware answer would be nice for this. Does deleting the account free up the registered DLC with it to be used on a newly created game account?

DLC is associated with your EA account, not your BioWare account. You should be able to delete the latter and still play with DLC, and you can't delete the former. However, creating a new account, either within the game or here, will create a new EA account that does not own any DLC (and you cannot re-redeem codes). In theory, it should be possible to delete a BioWare account, then create a new one using the existing-EA-account option, in which case that BioWare account would inherit any DLC redeemed on the old account. If that doesn't work, it's a bug and I doubt anyone would be able to tell you.

This is what I need an answer from Bioware.  If I can delete my Social Network account, so that it deletes all my achievements and specialization unlocks, and then create a new social network account using my existing EA account, and still have access to my DLC.

Well, the answer is that you're supposed to be able to. Until somebody reports having successfully done this, that is the best answer anyone, BioWare employees included, can give you. I guess you could create a new test account, delete it, and attempt to recreate it (of course, you would need to briefly play with that account, such that a character is uploaded, before deleting it).

haha, well, that didn't work out so well. I contacted EA support before I did it, and they gave me the wrong information. So I deleted my Social Network account, which you can tell by looking at my posts above, no name no picture anymore. I am still able to play with my DLC in the game because the DLC is linked to your EA account, but so is the Profile for Achievements and Specialization unlocks, cause I got all of them back as well despite deleting my social network account. Apperently the only thing deleting your social network account does is delete your Screenshots and Character information, but not your achievements of specialization unlocks.

Anyways, now I am not able to create a social network account linked to my EA account.

Does this mean if someone were to delete their social bioware account they can no longer register a new account with their current EA account?

I haven't flexed my memory in some time and I am getting hazy on the details, but yes, I believe that is the case.

i have a similar problem. i connected my ps3 dragon age with this social account and a valid email.
after that i have realized, that i allredy have an account here with the PC-Version of dragon age.
so i registered the game on the same account the pc-game is registered. now i cant change the account the ps3 is connected to...i tried deinstalling the game as well..without any option to change or reconnect to my other email. what can i do to connect both games (PC and PS3-Version) to the same account? I dont want to have two accounts here...

Thanks for any help in this!

Wouldnt it be quicker to make a new thread rather than find a 4 year old one?
