A very nicely compiled survey.. It really highlights the serious issues I had with the ending.. Now if only Bioware will actually read the results and do something about it..

LOL! Man - so do I  - SO DO I!!!!!  :blink::blink::blink::blink::blink::blink::blink::blink::blink::blink:   If it weren't for sleep deprivation and a mobile hospital drip for the coffee I don't know how we could still be stumbling through this. Ofish - hats off to the creator - said only a few days ago how he used to be very cynical about the amount of money survey folks charge - gee, ain't he changed his tune! Apologies to Jimmy Buffet: if we weren't all crazy we would all go insane! And Amen to that!
cheers

I understand your point but my issue lay among the lack of choice in the matter. While he is Alliance, he is also a spectre (assuming that choice was made). Throughout the first game there are a few opportunities to choose between whether Shepard would prioriize or stress his position as an Alliance soldier or as a Spectre.

I remember in the Cerberus New Outlet, a story came up mentioning that two Turian spectre's found a Turian responsible for some attack on Volus property-people. It specifically mentions they were pulled away from the conflict on Taetrus. While there are no facts, I have a feeling those Turian spectres chose to fight in Taetrus and I seriously doubt as many Asari or Salarian Spectres bothered to involve themselves. Now does that mean all Turians were involved? Probably not.

Now in Shepards case as the first human spectre, one can stress his role as a Human and focus on Huanity's needs first or one can choose to stress the Councils needs first. basically this would mean a few dialogue options added in certain areas and a choice between reporting to Hacket and the Alliance or the Citadel Council (probably at the very beginning when you meet with the council).

It's just new content that I think would enhance player choice and gameplay variety, AFTER they fix the endings of course.

"...basically this would mean a few dialogue options added in certain areas and a choice between reporting to Hacket and the Alliance or the Citadel Council (probably at the very beginning when you meet with the council)." My first reaction was - way too hard. But after some further thought, I think it could work. Bascially as most of the time Shepard talks to a hologram of Hacket, can't see that much would need to change - just a different flavour, and some tweaks in dialogue. So game emchnics are not too onerous to tweak, but conceptually very different to be Alliance or Council. Good thought.

Done. I really hope Bioware start taking a look at all the information we are giving them.

And get some rest Mike. Don't want to see you die of exhaustion before we see the end of all this.

Nice work, keep it up. Hopefully this makes a difference, although I'm sufficiently jaded as a result of the Bioware PR double-speak (and abhorrent EA marketing tactics) at this point not to expect much.

Many thanks! We're not pining our hopes on massive changes either. But if we have to expend 95% effort to get 5% change, then so be it. Never get stranded in 'What if land' is my motto. Well - recently it is!
