You should have those questions as optional. "If you think "x" is a logic/narrative probelm then"
Otherwise good work!

well in these questions you can choose "very unimportant" or "fine as it is"BamBam38 wrote...
I think doing a survey is a great idea and a lot of your questions are good. But one criticism I have is that you state some questions as facts when they are subjective. For example narrative and logic problems. Those are forcing the reader to agree with your opinion that there is something wrong with those situations, themes, etc.
You should have those questions as optional. "If you think "x" is a logic/narrative probelm then"
Otherwise good work!

I'll try and get the FAQ up when I get back - some of the issues folks have will have answers in that. But please - do tell us what could be improved in the survey - it will help keep the report on track. I won't say it will also help in any future surveys because not only would that freak you out and my wife out, it would probably cause my one last functioning brain cell to down tools as well!!
Keep up the great work - on behalf of Ofish and me (that's a movie title, isn't it? Doesn't anybody else think that's a movie title??) - THANK YOU! And keep spreading the word.
cheers

It was hard not to select 'very important' for every issue the survey brought up.
Thanks - and yes this was something we agonised over quite a bit. We could have tried to delineate more between the 'top end' selections - as you say the Very High options. The reason being that strong patterns tell you something very clearly, but they make it harder to identify and interpret subtle changes. Can be done - but there are hlower levels of confidence and it's harder work having to squeeze things out. We had a couple of draft surveys that were attemptin to further divide the maximum value, but decided that to provide a balanced set of options for all questions was perceptually a better way to go. Having a finer level of options at one end also presents issues that need to be resolved in the analysis, so the gains would have been evened up to some degree. I'm happy with the choice to do it this way - but yes, there are issues we need to be aware of and communicate. Many thanks

When he was 10 years old, Raynor Unwin - son of Stanley Unwin of George Allen and Unwin, the publishers of both The Hobbit and Lord Of The Rings – was paid a shilling for his (favourable) one page review of the hobbit. A decade and a half later he was asked to review Tolkien’s manuscripts for the Lord Of The Rings. When he'd finished reading the manuscript, he informed his father that it was a great work, but that it would probably loose the company 1000 pounds if they published it. – a lot of money in early 1950s. His father replied - IF you think this is a great work THEN you may loose 1000 pounds.
THIS is the vision and courage we still believe is in Bioware. We just want to help them achieve it.
All assistance gratefully received!!
cheers
