I'm curious. So I figured I'd ask the DA2 fan boys and girls. Who would you cast (film-wise) for some of the DA2 companions (and Hawke)?
I've found a couple of websites - most people agree Jack Black should play Varric. I must say, I can't think of a better choice. Fenris is iffy. Some say Adrian Brody, but I think the face reminds me a lot of Robert Pattinson's (no I'm not a Twilight fan - but I can't deny the resemblance). Also thought Jonathan Rhys Meyers would be a good cast.
I always thought Cassandra (the Seeker) reminded me of Isabella Rossellini. She's much older now, but still. Aveline - Claire Danes. Definitely.
I'm stumped on most of the others. Even the two Hawkes. Eep.

For Merrill, couldn't you just keep Eve Myles? She does live-action film acting, and I don't think her appearance is far off.

Christian Bale would be a pretty good Fenris... I hate Christian Bale, but i can't deny it.

lol - a foot. I actually can't stand Pattinson, but I have to disagree. I do see a resemblance - especially in the browline and nose.
Christian Bale I actually love, and have since changed my mind; Let's get him casted for Fenris.

I say cast Gideon Emery as Fenris. Why not use him? He's got the jaw, and obviously enough, the voice. 
I'd rather him than some big name who likely wouldn't play Fenris half as well as Gideon did.

I was wondering about this too. He's an actor, and he's attractive. He somewhat looks like the character. He might need to get skinnier (Emery is pretty built).

Actors that can do good character depiction are better than the ones they only use for look alikes.
Anders - agreeing with previous speaker, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau. Totally!
Aveline - Gwendoline Christie, for her spectacular role in Game of Thrones (Brienneof Tarth). I always though they were very alike in personality.

Isabela - Halle Barry
Sebastian - Gerard Butler, you can't deny his scottish accent and good looks, though he might be a bit old.
