There's a lot more than just the Desire Demon to worry about in this game.

In Australia the rating is 17+ with Strong Violence
If I was to rate this game though it would be 21+ with Strong Violence and Adult Themes. The latter is what I personally feel was overlooked during the ratings - it's the theme of the game that is simply for a mature audience. But that's just my opinion as a parent. Age and maturity aren't always parallel however, but that is my opinion of the game's real rating.

The amount of nudity itself wouldn't have pushed it over the 12+ limit, I think.
Cultural differences, as always.

Just because he happens to not want to deal with the partial nudity does not mean that you all have to berate him.
Taken from the ESRB page ...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rating: Mature
Content descriptors: Blood, Intense Violence, Language, Partial Nudity, Sexual Content
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Also that description is on the game box ... so you are saying I should complain about the game not being a flight sim then? or that there is too many nudity and sexual content on 9 1/2 Weeks.
Please, if you are "enlightened" enough to be perfectly fine with nudity, allow us who are supposedly ignorant to remain as such. Just answer the dang commentary without getting all preachy!
If you bothered to read the content description on the game box you should have known what you had got, I do not complain about Gorn movies as Saw, I did not liked when that I had to endure a Hostel preview on the theater but did I started to complain about it? no.

However, as soon as I heard those creepy freakin' verses start up in the Deep Roads, I saved and quit. I knew it was going to get bad and waited until my youngest went to bed before I kept playing. I didn't even want the possibility of her hearing that, I was afraid it would give ME nightmares.
Okay, I exaggerate, but you get the point.
There is no current way to tweak the nudity of the Desire Demon to more clothing, or the Brood Mother. If a modder doesn't do it for you, you're stuck.

to sum up my earlier point that you so obviously missed, stop going on about how stupid people are that want a way past the nudity. anyone heard of tolerance for other views?

That is not true In Australia the rating is MA 15+ Strong Violence
as for using the toolset to mod the desire demon to wear more i dont see why not as there are mods to make it wear less, just that you may have to learn to do it yourself

But regarding some of the other posts...
@ M. Hanky, if you re-read the posts I think you will find very few people are berating him. A lot are pointing out that if the nudity is a problem, there will be a lot of other areas in the game that will cause problems as well.
The only reasons to have a problem with the nudity are moral reasons, or suitability issues for younger audiences. Given the themes of the game, even without nudity it is still unsuitable for those opposed to in game acts lacking in morals and younger audiences. Modding out the desire demons (even if you just switched them to appear as rage demons) will not suddenly give you immunity from these issues.

Yeah, those verses genuinely creeped me out when I heard them as I approached the boss of that area.Adria Teksuni wrote...
If no one is willing to do the mod for you, the only other suggestion I could have is not to play when your children might see. Although I def do not see the Desire demon worse than most network and cable television shows run during the day that my kids click past without even blinking.

OP: Yes they can be modded to be less revealing, You'd have to do it most likely. IT might even be possible to simply change a setting on their properties to be another creature. Haven't looked at it and probably won't, but if someone can make a mod to make them reveal more, then the opposit can be done also. Though we currently don't have access to the model file itself, we will eventually. As is it'll be a skin tight outfit you can add if you wanted to.
I agree with others though, Having headphones, and paying attention to your surroundings while playing a game should suffice. Not having your PC in the front room against a wall so anyone can just happen by... That is just plain common sense. IF you can't figure out how to get some private time, then maybe you shouldn't be playing computer at all...

Edit: That is to say, we do not want your child being exposed to any part of this game.
