Starbrat get's more nervous when you have more firepower offeres a middle ground synthesis/control in the hopes to still net you. Becuase you've lost Shepard is now there puppet so him waking up is no longer important. That's the way the theory goes anyway.Bad King wrote...
If IT is real then why does Shepard need higher war assets to unlock synthesis (and possibly control if you destroyed the base in ME2) and thus be indoctrinated? And why doesn't he wake up at the end of every ending seeing as he was only indoctrinated by control/synthesis and not killed?
So if your war assets are too low, the reapers take pity on you and don't indoctrinate you?

Either that or Sheaprd has taken less time to get those assests so less time to indoctrinate him so weaker indoctrination effect so they just try and fry his brain.Bad King wrote...

It's because you're going to die anyway. See, the only way to beat the game is to play a completionist single-player along with multi-player and then choose the correct option (out of a possible max of 3). Otherwise, you lose. Because the one thing that we know is that in video games, there should be lots of opportunities for the player to lose, and not know it. That's why they never use obvious devices like bosses to let you know that the end of the stage is near; or hell, they never use stages or levels for that matter. Everything is always a confusing mash-up of semi-tangible, possibly interactible ideas and concepts floating around. Many of these may appear as something completely different (ala the Space Brat). Gamers do not want to definitely know what's going on; they want to just make up their own story.
That's why everyone's so upset at the endings; they concretely laid out specifically what happened to who, when, why, and how. Jesus, did you even play the game?!

LOL I don't think they are geniuses, they simply ran out of time concerning development and slapped these wonderful sixteen endings into the game in order for it to ship. Where have you been for the last 45 days?BrandonBRUNO51 wrote...
My friend told me about this podcast about the indoctrination theory. After listening to the podcast I now relize the folks at Bioware are geniuses.

Before posting please listen to the podcast, and I hope everyone sees how awesome Bioware is at making stories.

Oh... look IT theory again.... once again it's just a Theory.... not fact... I will hold off on proclaiming Bioware's magnificent storytelling skills until the EC releases. If it is IT that still means they sold us an incomplete game which would be worse than just getting a crappy ending.
I.T. would just mean that it ends in a cliffhanger and that Mass Effect 4 will be Shepard & Fleet vs. the Reapers

..............Bioware have already stated that there will be no more games with Shepard after ME3, this is the end of Shepard's Story. They said they will maybe do prequels it depends.

Not grasping at anything. Just saying what a company says at one point can change later. Look at the endings and how "different" they are.zarnk567 wrote...
