asari + sniper = kicked. this is a text book example of doing it wrong.

drell + sniper = kicked. same as above, go back to single player, thane.

battlemaster + sniper = kicked. this is even more embarrassing and shameful than the previous two.

(gold only) level 1-9 (class, not n7) = kicked. "b-but weapons are what matter!" cool, i'll switch to my level 1 drell vanguard with a geth smg X. "N-NO THAT CHARACTER SUCKS". go be arrogant somewhere else, ******, i am not carrying you.

if you sound annoying over the mic = kicked. i don't use a mic anyway, but if i see someone talking a lot, i give a listen. i don't care how high or drunk you are, i don't care that you and your frat buddies are gonna practice making out with each other, i don't care that your boyfriend is sleeping. **** off.

(gold only) human soldier/vanguard = kicked. these attract retards like no other. however, it the vanguard is the host, depending on my mood/their weapons/their equipment, i give it a go.

if your online handle includes a reference to sniping, drugs, internet lingo/memes, hitler's birthday, or anything about ponies = kicked. i refuse to affiliate myself with such people in any capacity.

if i check your online profile and find out that you are a fan of the yankees, lakers, NY giants, eagles, redskins, steelers, canucks, packers, heat, angels, or liverpool = kicked. if i read that you are a fan of the mets or the phillies, i not only kick you, but i send you a 15 second voice message of me laughing.

(gold only) striker, falcon or incisor equipped = kicked. take your poo flingers and get out.

that's all for now. but yeah, this system works out pretty good.

I smell a fellow ma**hole.

I played with a dude the other night whose tag was IxxNOxxSCOPEDxxJFK or something similar. Needless to say he parked himself in the command center on dagger while the rest of the team died all over the map. Needless to say, I left.

First I go Character Level

Since I am always hosting the game and playing gold I make sure the other people's levels are 18+.

Then I go to Weapons.
If the person is less than level 15 with crap weapons then they get kicked if they don't swap to a higher level when I tell them.

Now when they have a high N7 rating (300+) then they always pass the second stage and if not they always have a higher level to swap to. So far, hasn't failed.

The bottom line is mics. No Mic then no one plays. (That rule is only there if I have a friend in since I can't get kicked for it)

I find it funny that people here are saying they will kick on Gold if you aren't 20.
The difference between 17 and 20 is virtually nothing. Once the class has its primary powers maxed, then its ready for Gold. The two passive skills are just bonus. Also, people kicking for weapon choices are being arrogant too. I understand kicking for Claymore+BW adept, but if I'm using a 'bad' weapon like the GPR, I shouldn't be kicked. You don't know how good I am.

Same with the N7 rankings. Campaign doesn't earn you N7, but it earns you experience.
I hate this community. Full of elitist pricks.

As for my judging...
Bronze-IDGAF
Silver-If you are a low level, pack decent weapons(So, having only an avenger 1 isn't ok. Switch to a stronger gun, like Carnie, or a higher leveled one, like Avenger X), but I don't care what level you are. I take level 1s into silver all the time.
Gold-Preferably 15 minimum. I make exceptions if I've played with you before, or if you are a class that doesn't need 3 maxed powers(Soldiers, Salarians, infiltrators) But don't be below 14.

That is pretty funny.

I don't care at all about N7 rating. I have kicked 1200+ because they used shi* weapons, acted like idiots or used a low level on gold because they thought they were good with everything including using a level 5 on Gold.

Then you say that you shouldn't be kicked because people don't know how good you are. People also don't know how bad you are and I have been in many games were the people that I "took chances" on barely did anything and died the most. (like running out like a ****** and trying to melee a banshee on gold)

18+ is my rule with randoms for gold because I have tried less with randoms and they always die the most. Does that mean that everyone who is less than 18 in the game bad? No. I just have had bad luck with people joining but you know how it goes "One bad apple spoils the bunch" it may be a very old phrase but it still is true.

-------------------

Edit-

Mics are cheap. There are even some websites that give out free headsets. They don't have to be a Xbox branded headset for it to work with the Xbox. It can be a cell phone headset as well.

It also gets to a point where I am sick of NO ONE in a TEAM BASED GAME having a mic.

I only ever kick on gold, and even then I am not the one to initiate the kick. Like last night an n7 14 joined the gold lobby, I suggested over the Mic that they should go play bronze because they won't have any fun on gold and they left the lobby.

Equipment:

People with amps for weapons they're not using are auto-kicked.  Otherwise people are free to use what they like, although I think people should fill at least a couple of equipment slots on gold.

The other night I respecced my GI for GPS use, and changed the weapon to match.  Entered a lobby, put on a shotgun amp and readied up-- clock ticked down and the game started.

Lo and behold, neither my powers nor my weapon were changed-- but one of my respec cards was used, because I got a new one right after that game :P

That's really odd.  Not sure how it applies though.

Out of the many variables, what's the most reliable for you?

N7 Rating: This one's tricky, a high N7 means the guy played a LOT but it doesn't mean he's super good at it, doesn't also mean is a total beginner though. Also an N7 of 120 may mean a guy that is good and doesn't promote or a guy that's such a beginner that doesn't even know HOW to promote. Also a high N7 rating may lead to further misconceptions such as you may "trust the guy" on things you normally abhor such horrible weapon choices thinking that since the guy has a high N7 rating he knows what he does.
Weapon Carried: This is the most reliable variable to me, if you take adept and carry a Claymore AND the Revenant chances are you don't even know the meaning of words such as "cast" or "spells" or even worse "Adept".
Level of the Current Character: This one's tricky as well, a guy with a level 1 sentinel may outperform another guy with a level 20 adept easily if he carries the right weapons and knows how/when to cast spells.
class Choices: Another tricky variable, some classes seem to be evergreen such as Infiltrators that most of the times come handy, some others are a hazard, such as human/krogan vanguards which either they will get killed during the first minute of every wave ultimately leading the team an inevitable defeat OR they will be so good you will have troubles finding standing enemies.

Pretty much all of those, you can't rely on just one.

I saw a N7: 1/Level 1 play Silver. I made a kick vote but no one else cared, even sent the guy a message saying not offense it's going to be tough at his level. Everyone was ready and I was the only one that voted to kick. Rather than just make everyone wait I just unequipped my bonuses and went with the match. Sure enough he went down every wave and then quit on wave 3. I helped him out as much as I can but when he runs off to die again you can only do so much.

Another Silver match I saw a N7:1200+/Level 1 and figured he can play well enough. He even equipped good weapons and even equipped bonuses to make up for his low level. We did two Silver and he usually finished 1st or 2nd.

Most of the time I don't kick unless they're severely underpowered for the match or they don't ready up in 5 minutes. If I evaluate the team to be good then I equip the good stuff (AP rounds, Power and weapon bonuses). If they're bad I won't even bother with the equipment. I might equip a level 1 buff if I have a surplus of that type but that's about it. Not going to waste my consumables if I don't have a good feeling about the random team.

On bronze (when leveling up a promoted character) I don't care what people bring as long as they ready.

On silver I kick anyone lower than level 10. Either you promoted the character (which was your choice) or you are new, either way don't waste other people's time when you could do a couple bronze's and have more points to spend. If that concept baffles you...chances are you too selfish to be a good team player.

The only other thing I will kick for is having no mods equipped on your gun when your N7 is over a 100. Please buy something other than spectre packs...

On gold, I usually kick anyone who isn't 20. The lack of mods issue applies here as well, but to everyone. Also, if you use no consumables I probably won't bring you along if I am playing with friends...it is a bad sign.

Oh, and I kick drell adepts. Sorry, but I like having my sound on.

You dude should seriously chill.
Oh, and I'd kick you from my lobby on any occasion. Because your criteria are plain dumb.
