Yeah, it's really disgusting and pathetic how BSN is so preoccupied with the Romances. I don't even think they're that good to begin with - just a few lines of dialogue and BAM! - "I'm so in love with you!". I predicted a while back that there'd be far less complaining about the ending if it let you get with your LI, even if all the plot holes and deus ex machinas were still intact. Obviously, I hope that the Extended Cut doesn't dwell on this subject.

Hey, don't freak out.
I absolutely understand why people like the romances, I had LIs in the first two games as well, my Shep just dumped them in ME3 because all the busy galaxy saving stuff. I just find it a little odd sometimes when the blue babies are mentioned more often than the freaking squad beeing on the Normandy and in the direct line of fire of Harbinger at the same time. I just wanted to say that BW shouldn't just resolve the squad mate and LI issues and focus on the really stupid stuff.

There can be a thousand blue, green or human babies after the star douche gets kicked in the balls, fine by me.

My acceptance of the EC hinges on that dumb and pointless Normandy crash being removed and Shepard instead being reunited with crew and LI. Since it was stated that the ending won't be changing, I have very little hope of this happening.

I don't think it needs to have more than a scene or two. Just something to acknowledge the relationship, and if Shep's alive to make it clear that they Lived Happily Ever After together.

Too much specificity about what form that Happily Ever After takes isn't necessarily a good idea.

This is wishful thinking, but what if the final part of ME3 is suicide mission esque but so epic that specific part of the game is being developed seperately (extended cut). Now thats wishful thinking lol, time will tell.

Give me an option for a happy ending with my LI and I'll forgive all plot holes, rushed game play mechanics, shortened story lines, forced use of multiplayer, stupid fetch quests, pandering for DLC purchase, etc. I know there are tons more problems with the game and the ending, but if you give me the illusion of hope that is honestly all it would take to restore my love for ME again.
