I agree with this. All I want is for the Normandy to stay the hell in the Sol system like it should, and to have either a tearful farewell (not enough EMS, destroy) or something like the hospital visit scene from the beginning, only this time it's Shepard recuperating. Maybe even have your LI (or femShep) say they are with child (broShep or femShepxLiara) or pop the question or something. It doesn't need to be long to move players to tears. Just give us something BioWare, anything. Please don't let bitterness and anger be the last things we feel after such an incredible journey spanning 3 games.

- Wow, this would be a great way for Ash to tell Shepard she's with child. We would just see the two of them in the room and Ashley could say something like this: "We decided to drop by to see how you were doing, skipper." It might take it a moment for it to dawn on Shepard, but he would catch on, especially after the huge smile appears on her face.......I need to stop. I'm making myself miserable, dammit.

- BioWare, we're having to think up endings in our heads to ease the pain. Help us.

iam more concerned with the plotholes an how they will fix it. Another thing that worries me is the resolution of the geth/quarian conflict, the cure of the genophage and saving the rachnis...

It doesn't. in only goes to the LI if it's Liara or the VS. I'm almost more angry about that than about the ending as such, and that's saying something.

In fact, I want that for every LI. I want each of my Shepards to see their LI again.

Would it be so bad if Shep really died? Why should he/she be the one who can live the rest of his/her life with the one true love while everyone else in the galaxy has lost their loved ones to the Reapers.

I actually liked the red ending without the breathing scene much more because it felt so heroic to give up Shep's life for the rest of the galaxy. Even with my Miranda romanced save.

Failing that, fix the damn ending...it doesn't make sense.

I may be alone in this one, but I thought the sadness of Shepard leaving them behind was one of the few things about the ending that was emotionally effective. I wouldn't mind seeing my LI gazing up at the stars in the epilogue or something, but I don't think this is one of the main issues with the ending. I'd rather they focus on erasing or resolving the star child nonsense, and give us some insight into how our choices affected the final battle and its outcome.

I liked that Shepard had something to live for and someone to go back to. It made the sacrifice meaningful, even if it was extremely depressing.

I'm not sure what you mean by "significant impact".

The Normandy crew should be rescued, always (I hope that they'll just remove that sequence entirely, but I don't believe they will, so they better make it inconsequential).

If Shepard lived, there should be a reunion with the crew. And if the LI survived, there should be a reunion between the two.

I don't know what other "impact" they could have (except fighting on Earth, for Miranda, Jack, and Jacob)?

It just seems to me that Shep's death would make the romances more emotional than "and they lived happily ever after". It would show that a true hero has to sacrafice the things closest to his heart sometimes to save something far bigger than he is.

And don't let the LI escape with the Normandy when he/she is in the squad. That would help of course.

And my single Shep will miss his dude-bro Vega proabably more than any of the potential LIs. We wanted to got to Vegas with Steve and Garrus.

Should your LI have a significant impact in Extended Cut?

Impact, place in the EC yes but "significant" could be taken to the extreme, my Shepard will likely still die in the EC so some closure with the LI is expected.   I want closure with my other squad mates as well.

I think that the endings where Shepard dies should still be there, red included (less than 4000 EMS), but punishing Shepard for being a survivor isn't fair. Under that statement, nobody who survived is allowed to be happy. They will all suffer from survivors guilt and quite a few will never be the same/lose their minds from PTSD, but most will move on and find some happiness in rebuilding and in their personal lives. Life does go on.

That's a good take. Heroic death for Shep with closure about the rest of the plot or surviving romance Shep with closure. I just fear that BW will make the EC just for the one "right" ending, which I guess will be the red one with more than 4000 EMS. That would be a kick in the nuts.

Even if it's just Liara w/ babybump giving my Shep a nice eulogy on the Citadel. Maybe bust out that time capsule thing she was preparing.... Cut to scenes around the galaxy showing the impact my Shepard has had on the surviving people around her. I could live w/ that.

Still wouldn't explain or forgive the travesty that is the BieberReaper Ending, but a focus on the characters would be nice. That's what ME was all about for me.
