This game is fantastic but I would really like longer dungeon crawls. I wish there were some side quests, so that people do not have to do it, for relics or such that involved deep levels and dank corridors!
Not enough dungeon crawling!

WAT
Dungeon crawl #1 -> Cutscene directing me to dungeon crawl #2 -> repeat
I think I just fed a troll.

No...that is to story driven. I just want the crawl without the running from place to place.

Try TorchLighT. That's a pure dungeon crawl game honed to the nth degree. And it's only 15 quid.

I did but I think the DAOs UI is much better.

I think OP wants
Instructions->Dungeon Crawl #1->Dungeon Crawl #2->Dungeon Crawl #3->Turn In- Grab New Quests -> Dungeon Crawl #4->Dungeon Crawl #5->Dungeon Crawl #6-> Turn-In-Grab New Quests etc...
Icewind Dale might be a tasty treat for you, Neverwinter Nights isn't heavy on story either

Really want: Grab quest: multi-hour dungeon crawl. Eye of Beholder style.

LOL - one of the best story RPGs to come out and you want less story? xD. Though I agree - it would be nice to have some areas where you are free to explore your own way. Someone should make an addin where there is a castle with really deep dungeons

There are times when I just want a fight... So having randomized dungeons (tho not necessarily a "dungeon", could be outide too) for just some relaxing fights would be nice. Probably possible in a mod for PC, but on the xbox no such thing would be possible unless it was official DLC...
It'd be nice to custom build a party with any character, assign any skills, talents, and abilities, then just head off to fight. The arena (Proving Grounds) is ok, but it's too much an arena, with no place to set up ambushes, traps, etc... Need a sense of spookiness by wondering what's around the next corner.

I'd like to see these types of things for DLC. I am underwhelmed by the descriptions of Return to Ostagar. Show up, kill a few darkspawn, Alistair will whine in a cutscene, and you get shiny gold armor.
I'd enjoy it if they threw in an adjuct of the Deep Roads. The armor's actually at the bottom of a 3-4 area, 2-3 hour (real hours, not Warden's Keep "hours") pointless dungeon crawl.
Maybe I'm just old-fashioned. I dunno.
