Good that you could pull it off, I'm sure those other guys enjoyed seeing a good player in action.  On our match last night we were all level 20 and it was a pretty even level of effort.

Had so much fun playing gold vs cerberus all night, and sure, there were lots of low level players that barely got 20 000 points, but they didn't run off on their own and they were communicating and I never got very frustrated. Out of 10 gold runs I think only one or two were unsuccessful. Before the event started I played a really smooth match against the reapers on gold, on hydra, with a Bioware developer, who after I had sent him a message saying "good game" said that it was one of the best matches he had played.

Good times. Still loving this game to death.

Had a Carry Operation just a little while ago. Me and another guy with two newbies (N7 level less than 50) on a Gold run with Cerberus on Firebase White.

We tried to give them advice in the beginning on not running out and dying, but needless to say they didn't really heed it. They died pretty much every round, yet we were still able to pull through to the end and withdraw.

i have a crew that finished our squad goal last night. we normally run a 3 man group so if anybody needs help completing their first operation on the PS3 dont be afraid to send me a PM we can carry anybody who needs it. all classes and loadouts are welcome. all we ask is that you are polite, at least moderately mature (especially if you are a mic) and dont have any issues with following basic commands. (dont be surprised to hear me say get in the circle if you are not in the circle) and leechers need not apply. we will carry you but an effort is needed.

Don't think I've ever outscored the combined score of all my team mates before. The second guy was a krogan soldier, N7 113 with a GPS, the third was an asari vanguard, N7 91 with a Phaeston and the last guy was a human sentinel, N7 62 rocking a Locust.

Took ages... I kind of felt guilty when I stopped making attempts to resurrect the same person three times in the space of a minute.

But they all tried so bless their cotton little socks.

I just played Gold for the first time, Cerberus on Firebase White...used my salarian engineer and started off really well, got through the first 5 waves without anyone dying. Then the asari adept left or got disconnected and we had nobody left to stasis the phantoms...lost on wave 8. Hopefully can manage one to extraction at some point today! Was definitely a step up from silver but didn't feel too out of my depth (I hope!!)

really guys this is about helping people not patronizing them so you can feel better about yourselves. nobody needs to know how much better you did than others. just carry people if you want to help out. just because you cross their names out doesnt mean anything. they still know who they are and they dont need you waltzing into this forum patronizing them for it.

Oh really? If it wasn't for the screenies I wouldn't remember any details of any matches. It also presupposes that any players are forummers, which is exceeding unlikely.

Honestly, I don't mind carrying. But I don't know how it matters whether I do it silently or by showing the odd screenie here. Get off your nonexistent moral high horse:?

I would like to thank the SE and SI who I met today on Firebase White, they said that they were taking part in Carry, and it was my first time on Gold. When you get a GE, an SE, a HE and a SI together sparks really do fly. Great game. I nearly died when I saw that I'd come second on the scoreboard...it made my day. Thank you!

Great people and such a wonderful experience after the previous lobby where I got kicked for being a 'f**king retard' quote, with my loadout. Raptor X, barrel extension, ammo clip, lvl 3 AP ammo/Damage mod/ Sniper rifle amp, full healing turret, chain overload and 190% recharge.

Finished two Gold games with people N7 >50 before I even know about this community operation. And I always play "random" games. I have but one Origin buddy and I don't really feel like having an established party. Random is fun for me, for being... Well... Random.

sorry holyavenger i didnt direct that post at you. i was just saying it thinking that it would be exceedingly unlikely that anybody who took offense to it would be a 'forummer'

if you dont mind carrying people than carry them. what does posting your scores have to do with that? im not even saying you cant take 'sceenies' im saying that its just impolite to post them. if you dont understand that then what do i care if your feelings are hurt by my post clearly you dont care about the feelings of others.

Live and let live.  Post screen caps if you want, don't post them if you don't want to.  The important thing is we're helping people getting their conmmendation packs and getting the experience of extracting on gold.  Leave the philosophy for other threads.

Yeah, I've run into a lot of people I thought would be bad (and reasonably so), who turned out to be quite good.  Like the N7 < 50 BF3 soldier who was carrying an Avenger IV.  Came in a close second.  Props to that guy.  With a little more experience under his belt, he's going to blow me out of the water.

I must be getting a little bit better at multiplayer, actually did an Operation Carry last night with my SE, though at least I had good randoms who were willing to burn through missiles and medigel to get themselves through it. Finished with over a 100K score, more than the combined total of the bottom two. Had a QI who seemed to know her way around and helped a ton.

I must have had bad luck, because it always went the same way.

We'd do fine until the 7th or 8th wave. Then we'd get overwhelmed. Still haven't gotten gold beaten yet.

I completed the squad goal:innocent:: Yay for good karma! and thank Bob for <3SI's<3 because there's no way I'd have been able to carry them as anything else.
