I only lost 1 person my first time.

However I stand by my decisions. Zaeed should have been a viable choice for the leader of the second distraction squad. He led the Blue Suns for 20 years. He has experience damn it!

Honestly, I lost Jack, Zaeed, Legion and Thane on my first playthrough. I was heartbroken, but I wanted to make the decision my own.

To the topic: will carry!

That was my rationale exactly! Actually it turns out they retconned this in the intelligence dossiers from LotSB.

Cool idea and I love it especially seeing how some elitists are treating people on Bronze alone.

Oh by the way, Gold Newbie here…. Lol. Well with the exception of a last second switch up to Gold while on Bronze by the group leader a few days ago.

Since it sounds like the best way to do this is on Firebase White using Geth, at least from what I heard already today I have a quick question.

What would be the best class and build to use for this so I can maybe avoid getting killed in 13.4 seconds and actually get a kill or two in? Or a link to a useful guide on this...

You know what's coming this weekend.  N7 weapons are going to be dangled in front of people who normally play only Bronze and Silver, and who really have no business in Gold.  They will flood the Public Gold lobbies and there will be great weeping and gnashing of teeth.  But, rather than complain about it, let's look at it as an opportunity to challenge ourselves, spread some cheer, and maybe show off a little.  

So here's what I propose.  This weekend, go out into the public lobbies, and complete 1 gold game to extraction with randoms.  No picking and choosing, and definitely no kicking.  20 to 30 minutes of your time to make some poor newbie's dreams come true.  

Community Goal: Earn 1,000 N7 weapons for newbies.  
Squad Goal: Survive until extraction on any map and any enemy on Gold difficulty, in a public lobby with randoms without kicking anyone.  

Successful completion of the Community Goal will grant all BSN Community members 1 week of good kharma.
Successful completion of the squad goal awards warm and fuzzy feelings of comraderie and accomplishment to all squadmates.

Operation Carry will run from 6:00PM PST, Friday April 27th until 5:00AM PST, Monday April 30th.  Carry will be available on all platforms, EVEN THE PS3!  "Upload Game Feedback" is not required.  

Good luck and see you on the battlefield.  

We should have like, an extra squad goal to revive 1,000,000 newbies who died during a Gold Match XD

Does it count if you have to revive me 1,000,000 times in the same gold match, or does it have to be 1,000,000 distinct newbies? Because I can definitely do my part in helping someone achieve this goal (I'm a team player).

I'm one of those bronze/silver noobs. I want to make the jump to Gold.
I have all classes except Krogan Soldier unlocked, and a few solid rare weapons.

I've been doing okay in bronze and silver, so it will be interesting to see what the step up to gold is like. Not sure whether to use human adept for singularity and crowd control/biotic combos or salarian engineer for the usefulness of energy drain and decoy. Both level 20. Any suggestions?

While the idea is great, the name might be a bit too direct. Rather than telling everyone "we have to carry people who can't handle this" with "Operation Carry" why not a name a bit more friendly, like "Operation Uplift?"
