PS3 owners, take 10 mins and make sure BioWare knows how we feel!

This case falls under faulty software/ not working as advertised.
I used this link as proof of what BioWare was advertising. Mainly the quote: "Discussing Mass Effect 3's arrival in March next year, BioWare marketing
boss David Silverman told CVG: "This is the first time that all three
platforms have shipped at the same time and it will be an amazing
adventure whatever platform you play it on. I don't think you'll see a
difference between the Xbox version and the PS3 version. There's no drop
in quality on either.""
They say to blame Sony, but BioWare whould of known there was an issue in QA testing. And knowing the issue, the should of sold the PS3 version with a disclaimer about lack of online event participation. Instead they sold it as an intact game, with the same features as the other versions.
I have already filed my complaint, and also wrote GameStop with a request for a refund, for the game is faulty and does not work as intended.

Was it a Bethesday-type situation where the QA knew about the problems before release but EA said to release it anyway? The fact remains that the game was released in a sub-par state. People are justifiably hacked off with EA Bioware's attitude in ignoring the problems too!

I urge you to take 10 minutes and file a complaint against EA and BioWare with the Federal Trade Commission. It is easy step by step process.

Holding a perception that you were screwed is valid, I won't argue that. However We seriously should not want the government involved. Once that sleeping giant wakes up all sorts of bad things can trickle down to places you wouldn't even believe.
I have been trying to explain this to them in a previous thread. You are guaranteeing lawyer profiteering, but you are not guaranteed any sort of compensation or positive change to the game itself.
If you lost money buying packs Sony will return the PSN credit to you. The TOS EA sent out the other day makes reference to in-game purchases being final but that only counts if an exchange was fulfilled.
If you you purchased the game from Amazon and wish to return your game I understand they are refunding customers and sending out prepaid mailers to return your game.

GameStop will not return the games. Already tried. And I would love for BioWare or EA to be found guilty of selling a inferior/ faulty product. I would do the same damn thing if someone sold me a new car, only to be plagues with problems, and then not do anything to fix those problems.Vigilance_Pep wrote...

Problem is, even if it were to make it to the courts, you would have to provide evidence that this marketing guy deliberately misled consumers. That he knew there was a significant quality difference between the two, and then said what he said to deceive people.

I support this, even if only to send a message.

I promise I am not one of those fans yelling class ACTION LAWSUIT! However, I want it documented that consumers are not happy.

They haven't even admitted to the exact problem with including PS3 users in Operation events...
I'm pretty sure it has to do with EA wanting to more or less data mine Sony players like they are the PC and 360. Sony I believe is saying no to avoid another hack problem. I can't blame them for doing so if that's the case, I'd rather have a safe system than muliplayer weekend events.
Albeit, EA/bioware shouldn't want so much information if this is the case.
