1000 - 624.7597 = 375.2403 (after impact OK)
1000 - 540.0386 = 459.9614 (after DOT !!!! more damage WHY ?!)
((35.4 * (1 + 0.175 + 0.15)) + (35.4 * 0.1 * 1.1)) * 8 = 406.392 !!!

Shotguns using incendiary ammo might be bugged (do more DOT damage than they should ...)

I'll need to test this again with Claymore vs an armored target to see if the phenomenon repeats and the mystery damage scales ..

If this is true...I'm going to unleash some Dragon's Breath from the barrel of my Claymore.

Abd one other thing -  is ammo power damage affected by tactical cloak?

Ammo power damage is not affected by tactical cloak (the skill under tactical cloak that increases SR damage affects base weapon damage - so it affects ammo power damage  ... but it only works for Sniper Rifles) ... It is affected by power damage bonuses ...

I salute you, sir, not because you are the biggest most badass ME player I've ever seen, but because there is imagination and a sence of romance in your victories :) All hale Turian Shields, a hero of battle for Palaven!

Also I'm pretty sure that his full name was TechnoTurian Shields, and he was killed by Reapers because his godlike awesome dance moves inspired fear and jealosy in their dark reapery souls :))

Also what was the name of your Salarian Infiltrator, who made the first ever gold solo run in the history of ME?

Thank you for your kind words :) I always try to make up some backstory cause I like writing stories and ME is first and foremost a roleplaying game, right? Or it is for me anyway.

I briefly entertained the idea of editing the video further including some SP footage of Shields and the epic Garrus dance moves from Legion & Friends (even sent the author of the vid a PM asking if I could use it). But then the editing was taking too much time so I dropped it. Maybe next time...

I never gave a name to my Salarian Infiltrator but somebody suggested  he was the rumored 13th member of the League of One. Which I thought was pretty epic. :D

@peddroelmz Thanks for taking the time to do tests. I play by instinct and even without you shedding light on these numbers I knew incendiary had a boost with shotguns and is in general the best ammo power available. Panics organic enemies, stops shield regen, bonus vs armor, applies DOT effect and can basically save your life due to its small CC effect. I am guessing the DOT applies to each projectile and since shotguns fire several pellets the DOT applies several times. Which is awesome. To confirm this you'd need to test with GPS or something which fires a different number projectiles and see if it's any different. I suspect that it will deal the most damage of any ammo power overall, but I may be wrong.

I just tried this match with a QE. I got massacred on wave 6 by massed marauder fire. Even more respect for it now.

Was there ever any question that Marauder Shields was a hero? He died nobly trying to save me from the ending.

I know how you feel. Happened to me a few times too many until I learned that marauders are actually the priority targets. Forget banshees or brutes, they die easy enough if you aren't bothered by other enemies - you have to take care of the long range threats or it's impossible to complete objectives.

I honestly didn't dare attempt the whole run without a tech armor class. My turian soldier got slaughtered by marauders and cannibals every time there was an objective. They focus fire too well and without dmg protection of some sort your shields just melt. Even though he was a lot better at taking out targets from far away, it only ended in frustration. After 2 fails I decided to go with sentinel. Not that it was easy... Turians are just so slow, the lack of combat roll is infuriating. <_<

@GodlessPaladin Hell yeah, Marauder Shields always fights for the right reasons =]

Great vid. Thanks for showing the power of the Turian Sentinel (the fact you have tech Armour makes it even better). :)

Dude... Absolutely gdlk.

And never before has it been so blatant to me someone's playing on PC as it was in that video lol. But that isn't meant to take away from your skill at all. Aiming may be easier on PC, but not THAT easy; you make it look like child's play. Color me super impressed.

PS love the homage-to-Garrus colorway.

I'm ridiculously impressed. See? IT'S NOT A USELESS class!

..Sorry, I'm bitter from being kicked from a few games for playing one with tech-armor specced.

You, sir, are the man.

Lol omg not sure if srs...

Just read through some more of this thread and haven't facepalmed so hard in a while. Have any of you people crying for console equality ever actually played this game? Lol you can reload cancel with a quick tap of the evade button which, conveniently enough, does nothing BUT reload cancel on a Turian Sentinel.

You don't really mean to tell me you'd rather have to literally stop (at least in terms of your character) to move your thumb from the stick to down on the dpad (and probably use all your other consumables if you're on xbox lmao, given that dpad disc us fighting game enthusiasts love oh so much). I'm really hoping people just didn't realize what other options us consolers have to cancel with...

@acrb101 - Thanks for the praise. And to people that kick you, it's their loss :) The turian is super awesome and such a good team player regardless of the build. Keep making the Hierarchy proud =)

@No Snakes Alive - Thanks for the kind words. Yeah, I agree that in shooters it does become apparent when the footage is PC or console cause of the quick snap movements you can do with mouse. Console is more fluid, not a bad thing imo. And while it may look easy on video, it's pretty hard to do - and I'm sure it would be the same way if I look at some really good console footage. Videos always make things look easy. Homage to Garrus was on purpose - I always thought him & Marauder Shields were somehow related. If not by clan, then by heroism. Archangel & Shields - brothers in arms. :D

good job man. I rebuild my Turian soldier and they're not useless lol

it's all preference and what the player is good at. Candor is such an amazing map IMO also the hardest.

Very nice run you crazy little pyjak ;)

I think it's good that you did not put music into the video by the way. While I usually don't mind it in most videos I actually prefer the original sound in solo runs.

I'll have to keep that in mind. Just died trying to solo a Drell Vanguard.

Hey, do think this could work at least somewhat as well with a Batarian Sentinel? Submission Net is no Warp but it does do decent DoT to Armored foes and slow them down. Plus it can actually be used against other enemies to good effect, unlike Warp, if need be.

I'm really just trying to find SOME way to make the Batarian Sentinel worthwhile lol and I'm thinking a tanky Claymore build with the occasional net might be the best bet, inspired of course by this here. (Plus you can set net traps for the hard deactivate objectives /shrug.)

It will probably work just as well with Batarian sentinel. You'll have problems with the heavies in that they'll die a bit slower due to lack of Warp's weapon damage bonus, but submission net can increase your survivability vs marauders, which are even more dangerous imo. Batarians also are quite a bit above the Turians in terms of health so that can only be an advantage. Probably can be done and difficulty wise it will be similar. The reason I went with a Turian was because of Menae, Marauder Shields and all that sentimental stuff =]

I would love to try this on Xbox, but you reload so fast in the video. I have no idea how to cancel the reload that fast with the controller. Either way awesome video. Most impressive.

EPIC BUMP POWERS GO

...You can't use Medi-gel to cancel the reload on an Xbox, but you can do certain situational things, such as using a power that's in cooldown, tapping A without moving the control stick (not moving the control stick prevents an evade),  actually evading, tapping A full stop if your current species can't evade, or tapping B when in cover and not right next to the edge (as that will result in breaking cover with a melee)
