Or one guy with a good aim just... Shoot through the hollow of the shield.
Guardians are not difficult unless you have 2-3 of them trapping you on a corner/small place.

Oh I'm well aware of how long it'll take to kill an atlas. I was just saying that all of the cerberus enemies are a joke besides the phantoms. Although if you wanted to take the 4 soldiers with falcons seriously, I would suggest taking up concussive shot or at least a good secondary weapon that does good damage to armored targets (widow with armor penetration mod would work nicely).

My Talon III with pierce/damage mods brings Atlases down at a decent rate. I did a Cerberus/Gold/Giant run tonight with a team that had only done FBWGG and we made it to extraction without too much difficulty. Using headsets is key to gold success for many maps/factions.

Oh I'm aware.  Though even then the map is usually White.  People are so freaking boring.

And really I don't want to limit myself to not playing Geth.  Geth can actually be fun and relatively challenging on many maps.

How does a Human Vanguard fare on Gold? I have had decent runs on Silver/Reaper (and it's the only character I have on level 20 right now). Any tips? Or should I just use another class?

they should have specified a particular enemy and map...everyone is going to do FBW:Geth to get the commendation pack...do something challenging

Yesterday I barely played gold matches because more than half of them were FBW w/Geth. Now it's going to be worse.

Agreed, geth farming is boring.
I just host my own after a few tries, unknown map/foe Gold.

Joined my first gold game tonight, FBW Geth (wasn't looking for it really, just first random game). Got Salarian Engineer, Salarian Infiltrator,some human and me as Krogan Battlemaster. Wasn't that bad, considering the easiest map with most cheesy setup and easy objective rounds (disable/disable/kill), haven't died once, I even came up first on the scoreboard (through liberal use of Missile Launchers, was my first Gold, so I was overly cautious :x). I felt a bit carried, but I think I was at least somewhat useful, at worst not a dead weight.

Then I realized event is based on PST time and it haven't started yet... meh

Firebase White Geth Gold. It's the easiest way to farm credits, and even the most unskilled moron could complete it.
