Got windows 7 64bits and heard from here :

http://www.pcworld.c...ragon_age.html

that DAO don't work very fine with 64bits edition !

And i'm in this case win7 64 bits and my game don't stop to get ramdom crashes will all my drivers up to date !

No fix commented to the pc technical forum.

So i hope Bioware is working on patch cause it's fine to sell a product but it had to work, we don't pay to get a malfonctionning game !

So dlc etc cool but give us a patch please !

When it's ready. Patches aren't scheduled, they're released as completed.

You'd think Bioware would give us a little more Return to Ostagar foreplay by releasing new screenshots or something but no.

Been playing DA:O for a month on 64-bit Windows 7 RC and have only had one crash to desktop. So no complaints from me.

It's most likely your video card, Windows 7 64 bit and 32 bit (Yes, I have both versions) have worked perfectly for me. Not a single crash.

I'm referring to Dragon Age by the way. Not a single crash since I installed it.

I always love when people respond to threads like this with "I havn't had any issues", as if that obviates any possible problems.

Anyway to attempt to answer your question, Matthew Young CT up there had the right of it. There is a thread buried in here somewhere where a Bioware employee posted some updates that the patch was finalized and is in testing, and that they are already working on a 1.3 or 1.03 patch. This post was like 2 weeks ago, and said they hoped to have more information "next week".

Ah, found it. See here: http://social.biowar...114300/9#323000

And an update here, that appears to be saying we can hope to see the patch sometime very very soon. Cross your fingers for "today". :P

Thx for the information mate, I appreciate that !

Like you said, it's not because some people don't have problems that others don't have problems !

To repond to others, it's not my graphic card ! Have Mass Effect, crysis, COD:MW2 and many other games working fine !

Maybe the game have a compatibility prob with my graphic card and win7 but this is Bioware issue to fix it not me to change my card !

Now hope the patch comes out soon cause this game rules and i would like to play it without a crash after 5 sec playing or after moving map section or a end dialog !

Win 7 Pro 64bit here. Quad Core, 4gb, ati hd4870 etc.

Works absolutly fine except for a few minor graphical glitches with textures. Which i believe is ATIs fault because they can't write a driver to save their lives. I've had one crash in the past month which was also blaimable on the ati drivers. It could easily be nothing todo with Win7 and have everything todo with your graphics card drivers. Which is neither Biowares or Microsofts problem to solve.

This will be my first and probably last ATI card by the way.
