Harbinger please.
Here's to hoping they do.
And to bringing EA to its knees if they don't.

That's good bourbon.

For seriously. I'd better get a seriously sappy reunion scene for all this. If it's just the Stargazer and his grandkid telling me what happened after the final battle I will rage.Mr. Big Pimpin wrote...
What I want to know is: is any of this dialogue with our squadmates (ie reuniting with crew)?

But will they be recording "new dialogue", or will they just be giving Shepard new lines?
To me, there's a difference. Every single DLC is going to have Meer and Hale back. Yawn.
But the squad? Joker? Anderson? Hackett? TIM? That's new dialogue.

It says new dialouge. New lines is the same thing.
Hale and Meer are still under contract. They come back anyway.
TIM and Anderson are dead. Why would Martin Sheen and Keith David come back?
Yes, and once he wakes up, we'll send him to a nice farm where he can run and play with lots of other Alliance Admirals.lordnyx1 wrote...

Really? If they need new dialogue to expand the conversations on Earth or on the Citadel at the end, obviously. You know, clarification.Taboo-XX wrote...

Regardless, it was an example. I want to see new dialogue, as in all-new exchange between two or more people. I don't want them to just pack in new responses for Shepard and then resurrect the rest from unused content (or from all the stuff that Casey kept chopping off the ending).

Extra lines of dialogue!
StarChild: Make your choice.
Shepard: We'll bang, okay?
StarChild: No, just no. Choose.
Shepard: T_T

I don't think Gamble is saying that they are recording new dialogue right now. The way I see it it appears they're just adding cut content back in. Doesn't matter anyway. The extended cut won't save the garbage that was ME3's ending and I no longer trust Bioware. They know what we really want.

Do you believe that they will take four or five months to just write a few lines? You can have a feature film shot in that amount of time.
I don't know... seems less likely they'll get Strahovski back than others.Our_Last_Scene wrote...
This is good news, I like this, more Miranda please.

A rush-job film since scripts are usually done before that time, not to menion the time it takes to build sets, props, make-up, insurance, etc. etc. etc.
It takes 5 months to film, but that's after how many months of pre-production?
Same things goes for games; you have to not only write the dialogue, you have to program the game to include it, test it over and over again to make sure it doesn't clash with the rest of the code and cause errors, hire back the actors who may have other commitments, review work, finalise the patch, get EA to sign off on it, then get Sony and Microsoft's okay to release it.

I'm not talking about a Hollywood Blockbuster.
A simple film can be shot in week or even a month. Post-Production is where most time is spent.
Because this isn't going to be a large affair we can expect more with less etc etc.
