I have Mass Effect 3 for Xbox 360. My brother bought the N7
collector's edition, and of course, we have "From Ashes". Everything was
ok, but now the game won't let me play. It says that it "cannot find
From Ashes DLC", but it's there, in my hard drive. Why it cannot find
the DLC is beyond me.
Also, it's urging me to buy a pass to play
multiplayer...but I was able to access the multiplayer before, so this
is quite confusing for me. Any tips? 
By the way, my brother can play without trouble, he can access the DLC, and the multiplayer as well.

Have you tried deleting the dlc, and re downloading it, also you want to try clearing the cache after deleting the dlc., this would remove game update that you would have get again.

Problem is, when I go to the marketplace, it doesn't give me the option to download again. It's acting like I've never downloaded it before, therefore it wants to charge me 800 MS points.

Use your XBOX guide button, go to the account page (far right on the screen I believe)

Find the tab "download history", scroll through it and you will find it.

I did it, but it's not there. I think it's because my brother downloaded it with his account...will it work if he deletes the thing and downloads it again?
Anyway, since it's in the hard drive, it makes no sense. Why it can't be recognized when I try to continue my data?

didn't they patch it so only the account that downloaded it could access it or am I thinking of something else?

i doubt it if they did that family gold memberships wouldnt be as appealing

I just read the patch notes and I think it was something to do with PC saves and DLC not xbox that I was thinking of, apologies

Well, it didn't work. My brother downloaded it again, but I still cannot access my file...
I hope I don't have to start over again, and even then, I wouldn't be able to use the DLC and Javik, it's in my hard drive, I don't get it. If necessary, I'll post some pictures later.

Guys, I appreciate your help and the attention. I am truly thankful, but I still don't know what to do...should I contact EA customer help or something?
This is driving me mad.
