Are we going to be getting more Origin content?

It would have been nice if each origin would've had atleast ONE quest an origin that ties up their beginning stories. I know this was supposed to be focused on Grey Wardens, but it would have been awesome to dig up some Elven history, discover what that cave was with the Daelish, take back highever as a noble, maybe start a coupe with your city elf, etc. (Haven't played the other 3 origins yet)
Im just wondering if these origins are going to be tied up via dlc, and if there was no plan for an Origins dlc, maybe one could be thought up?

I don't know about you, but my Origin seemed to permeate to every part of my playthough. Of course, being a Dwarven Nobel is definitely something out of the norm compared to the rest of society.

I think it's very unlikely, as the amount of work to blend in a new origin into the existing game would be immense. However, if the game gets a proper expansion instead of just DLC then it is possible.

Someone did an experiment with doing an entire playthrough as a human noble mage. You do this by using a console command to change your class at the beginning of the game. He did it in order to test whether it would be feasible to create additional origins at some point.
There were some bugs (notably in the Circle Tower, where they all seemed to know you). But otherwise people correctly referred to you as a Mage despite starting the game as a warrior, and you were still a Cousland known to Denerim nobles in the tavern.
It's probably not as much work as you fear.

I'm honestly unsure why you felt that the origin didn't make any difference. The overal story is the same in every playthrough, of course, but the differences are there, and in several cases they are significant.
I've done 3 and a half playthroughs and I haven't noticed anything significant. Some different dialogue options here and there, running into an important character from the prelude later, and that's about it. Other than a that, your origin has exactly zero influence on the progression of the plot. The sole exception is human noble, which adds a unique ending option.
Your origin might change your personal perspective (as a player) on the events in the world. That's all fine, but it doesn't mean the objective content of the game has changed much, if at all.

Each Origin impacts different points in the story, but these are small and more commentary based.
"Hey Knife Ears vs Hello good sir nobleman"
A quest tied to your unique Origin in each game would be interesting... And not impossible to addon..
Not any harder then the Return to Ostagar story line
Or adding a whole new character WITH interruptions, side comments, side quests, and unique loot system by DLC.

he wasn't saying add a new origin... he was saying add a new quest that comes up for you that is entirely dependent on what origin story you started with.
this wouldn't require as much tying in... but it IS like adding 6 new quests. they would either have to be very short, even in comparison to warden's keep, or be the most labor-intensive DLC yet.

How so there really aren't any significant differences in different origins, almost all differences are in nuances, nothing significant.
There are some of course becoming queen as noble human and getting bastard child as a dwarfen noble. But there should be just a few quest that aren't on any other origins. There aren't anything like that in this game.
You can't even become queen or king of Orzammar if you play dwarfen noble, which is just beyond stupid.
I too hoped different origins to actually have some meaning in this game, atm they are just nice gimmicks which is a shame.
It would be nice to get something like this as a dlc I think, but I did expect that something like this would have been in this game already.

Im just saying it would be awesome if we could go and do some things involving our origins. I think all of them could be done post denerim even if they included it in an expansion. I think it would be really cool to be more involved in the characters past.

PFF .. The commoner dwarf campign give you much more reason to become someone .. Than some Dwarf who had the chance to be the dwarf Legacy ..
i lost all my respect to the Dwarf Nobility after doing the commoner Origins.
BTW i think the dwarf female are the most sexy female in the game.i have a new fetish .. That pair of Jug and ass... HMMMMMMMMMMM
