Lets say the destroy ending is the canon, this game is quite well prepared for a sequel. I was thinking about how it would be possible with all the different outcomes, but came to a few obvious realisations.
You didn't cure the Krogans? They live for a thousand years, they aren't going anywhere.
Chose Geth over Quarian? How would that not be an issue with who is still around and who is living on their homeworld? The ending of the game solved that. The Geth are gone. It sucks but they are all gone. Given the Quarian survived their final battle, settling an empty homeworld would be easy. So no matter which side you chose (Peace, Quarian, Geth) its all the same.

They also hinted at the possibility of building their own relays in ME2, just ask the bartender. What Im getting at is that not only is a ME4 very possible... I do believe they did this on purpose.

I do like your optimism, but there are a lot of issues with whatever ending, assume an EMS of around 3,500 (100% exploration, doing all missions, playing ME1 & ME2 brought me to about 7,000, 50% readiness), so no matter what Earth is saved, what happens to all those races who get stuck here? Can Earth sustain all those people after being well and truly slapped around by the Reapers? Just think of all the Salarians, Asari, Drell, Hanar, Batarian, Elcor, Krogan, Volus, they'd all have to live here, a lot of people seem worried about the Turians and Quarians, and I don't think that's a problem, the Quarians after all have lived for 300+ years on their spaceship.
Even if we could build a Mass Relay, how long will that take, and we need at least 2 to do anything, and meanwhile you have a bunch of angry male Krogan on Earth, including Wrex, and God only knows what's happening in Tuchanka. But the Krogan are not really the problem, on ME2 I remember that the Genophage wouldn't actually lead to extinction, the destruction of the Mass Relays, and fair end to space travel might actually bring their population number up in Tuchanka no matter what you did here,
The Quarian/Geth issue is more annoying because you are right, so, if you chose either peace or Geth and destruction all your efforts go down the drain.

This is all I'm saying, can it happen, yes, but ... I don't know.

This has been said before. Story of Sheppard is over, but Mass Effect universe is big. I would not say ME 4, but something like ME quarian wars/origins smth. Perhaps ME First Contact war.

W/E happens to/in the ME universe from now on, I for one will show a little bit of caution before i buy/order ANY Bioware title.
