Works great here, but I didn't really have any major problems to begin with. I was hoping that the patch would fix some of the weird low-res textures here and there - such as the entrance to the King's tent in Ostagar that really looks like a 128x128 texture.
I'm sure the people with crashes will be furious that their problems aren't fixed. At least Bioware is working on 1.03. Personally, I'd rather have more patches released frequently than just one mega-patch after 6 months.

Nice...
But indeed, some known problems aren't being fixed yet... I'd say, have some faith that it will be fixed

I have 12GB of RAM and a 2009 top-of-the-line Alienware system and the memory leak is even effecting me. I hope it's dealt with soon.

. Wait. What? 12 GB RAM? I hope you've got an 64-bits system and not 32-bits?

I would have to assume so. A 32-bit system can't utilize much more than 3 GB of RAM because there isn't enough address space in 32 bits.TUHD wrote...

*shrugs*
You can never know... I've once heard someone who putted a PC of €5000+ together... dumb idiot failed to realize you need an motherboard which cooperates with ALL of the parts... he had to throw away/sell off €3000+ in stuff (for a lower price) because the motherboard didn't cooperate with the RAM, processor, graphics card etc....

No, you should download patch from this site (Games -> Dragon Age Origins -> Game patches). 1.02 and 1.01b are NOT the same.
I know what you're talking about, as I was looking for 1.01b specifically myself, and was lucky that I got it when I downloaded "the newest patch 1.02" from EA yesterday.... Must be something bogus with their version control. :-)
This site has the correct 1.02 patch.
