I am having the same problem, In previous posts, some people suggested uninstalling and reinstalling, I am trying that now.

thank you for the proper patch link, Just so everyone knows, the one searchable via bioware site patches link still links to the old v1.01b as of 2/1/10 5:30 PM CST, they still need to update it

For those getting the errors above, If you are using Windows 7 or Windows Vista, please right click the patch file and run as administrator. I am running it on Windows 7 and have no problems at all after patching a few minutes ago.

@-jimbow, I would try uninstalling and reinstalling Dragons Age Origins then re-download the patches and extra contents and try the patch again as admin with Antivirus software disabled to be on the safe side. If you have any other software running in the background that may prohibit windows settings or registry changes please disable those as well. I've tested this on Windows XP, Vista and 7 all editions and it all works fine with no error codes. Also don't use mods...if you have any. Mods seem to cause more problems than they're worth imo.

I happened to delete a few files and discovered I had under a gigabyte of space left. After clearing up some more space, I attempted the patch again and it went through fine.

I'm left to wonder whether 29 isn't 'Not enough HD space'.

I was thinking a lot what there would be how on him if this it would be done animated cartoon sulphur than Resident Evil Degeneration.

According to me BioWare he has the background that way that let him give us pleasure with this !!!

I think they're saving the next patch for release alongside awakening. I read somewhere that Awakening itself would include the latest patch.

why does'nt bioware read our posts! i mean ive seen like 20+ posts about this problem... why wont they help us... like by fixing the patch or somethin... their games are great but their customer service is cr@p... i was wondering when will 1.02b come out?? can u send it to my profile cuz i might forget to check this post... hehehe
