Same here! Thank-you Bioware for the patch though!blaalindorm wrote...
Think I will stay on 1.01b until I'm done with the game. Quite like CoC and blizzard being powerful etc.
Thought mages were supposed to be powerful...
And, once I'm done with my playthrough, it's on to pastures new!

Honeslty though, I dosn't bother me that PC gets its Patch first as long as a patch for consoles is being worked on as well. It probebly takes alot of work to code that patch to work on a console becuase of how picky the code is for them.

I was screwing around in the toolset earlier today (creating custom items) and I'm running a few mods but even if I disable them all, I still can't area transition. Just to check, nobody else is getting this problem with 1.02 right?

Maybe Melo shouldnt have made a post that amounts to a blanket promise for a patch that would be available for all systems.

Won't be touching this patch. I just started a Normal game and don't want the battles nerfed for the kiddies.

the demand that they delay the PC patch until they get approval from MS and Sony is absurd.

I just installed this and I can't area transition anymore. As in I walk to the exit of any area, the world map never pops up and nothing happens. I'm currently stuck in Soldier's Peak with no way out but I've tried older saves and I can't leave Camp either.

Known issue that has been around. Under "modules" delete the "single player" folder (Note this is the one under your "My Documents\\Bioware ..." folder, not the main game one). It gets generated automatically whenever you use the toolset. I had the exact same problem and found the fix on the forums. You will have to remove that folder each time you use the toolset.
There might be another solution but that is the only one I have found so far and it works fine.

Oh, nice!
But why, oh why, did you have to nerf Cone of Cold!?
They didn't want people keeping groups of bad guys permanently frozen. I wonder why?
What's wrong with that? Mages are supposed to be overpowered. They're mages. Weak as kittens to damage, but destroy everything in their paths.

I find it a bit insulting now that the consoles still have to play bugged while the PC gets spoiled rotten. Shouldnt have even put the damn patch out until the consoles were clear to launch.
You're an idiot, just because you are on inferior hardware doesn't mean you have to drag us all down.
I love the insulting post that come from elitst ****s that think they are better because of what they play on. The only thing I ask for is equal treatment between the systems instead of making a mass promise that a patch is coming out and they only have it out for one system.
I love people how people blame Bioware for an issue that isn't their's. It's okay to be ignorant, just don't come to the forums and boast about it; it seems... counter productive.
Bioware is ready to release the patch today, as promised.
Microsoft and Playstation says; Nono Bioware, we need to test what you tested already to make sure your tests are test-fully tested and ready to be released on our "flawless" consoles.
Again, as people said, you bought a console and a game to play on a console. Live with the consequences and stop trying to bring the PC community down with you. Your consoles are regulated and working under precise rules and terms only Microsoft and Sony decided.
This isn't Bioware's fault.
This isn't the PC community's fault.
This is entirely up to Sony and Microsoft's processing system for patches and add-ons.
