Can someone post what files were changed so we can undo the nerfing Bioware just did. Sorry, I just don't want to play like that.

I also don't want easier battles.

Downloading now...thank you, Bioware! will have to drive up to Edmonton to buy y'all a round of beer! ;)

PS: how do we know if a patch is release? Check the forum regularly? I missed the built-in update feature in the Launch menu like Neverwinter Night and Neverwinter Night 2.

I think people need to remember that Bioware has a good history of supporting their games. This shows they'll stand bu this history.

As for the patch; patch notes say clearly that some or many of the fixes in the pc version 1.02 patch has been included in the Xbox 360 and the PS3 version of the game. You'll also have to remember that patches for the console systems have to go through validations and certifications check at both MS and SONY. And that can takes weeksm if not months.

As for the whole making the game easier bit; didn't they make the game harder? At least when it comes to the spells, no more freezing the bad guys for a very long time. As for more gold and health poultices, I can live with that...

Yeah, for those that don't realize it, patching on consoles is an involved process.  They have to get certification through the hardware makers, plus Bioware has to pay a patching fee every time they patch after the first (which is usually free).  Thus, console patches get released way, way slower than PC, because companies want to lump everything into one big patch and avoid having to pay extra fees.

I agree. A patch updater (as well as the DLC updater) could have a button in the launcher.

Nothing in the patch for bows.... check. Shale's weapons are still bugged and don't add to damage... check(this is dlc that you pay for again, right?) Get on the ball bioware. This isn't an mmo where balance and bug fixes are allowed. This should be a bug free and playable game from the start.

Sweet. Just in time as I'm about to replay but this time with the PC version. Did they fix the problems with rogues since I plan on playing the rogue class this time around?

While we are living in your dream world, can I have a NOOKIE button that will make my wife ready without any encouragement as soon as it is pushed?

I don't agree that making force fielded characters untargetable will balance the spell, it will just make it exploitable in different ways - for example using high agro/damage AOE spells or archer shots to decimate enemy lines then force fielding your mage/archer so enemies go after your tank instead.

I find it a bit insulting now that the consoles still have to play bugged while the PC gets spoiled rotten. Shouldnt have even put the damn patch out until the consoles were clear to launch.

You're an idiot, just because you are on inferior hardware doesn't mean you have to drag us all down.

wow so much spite...

but heres the thing the  page says that the patch is available for all  systems when in fact it isn't they are still working on the console version, that is quite misleading.

About time that the rather idiotic elitests get a shot in the foot. If only that Melo would come forward and admit he misspoke when saying a patch for ALL versions would me made available by Monday at the soonest.

I think people dont get that mods dont have to show edit times like everyone else.

I think that's perfectly fine, remember force field still takes your character offline for a bit, so you get some AOE and then can't do anything for a while.  This is far better than making tanks invulnerable.  It's also got a pretty long cooldown for using it solely to manage aggro, likely you've got a tank that's able to deal with that better.

On a related note, your characters should not be able to target enemies that are force fielded either.  It's always annoying when your characters switch targets to them.

Nice patch.

But looks like blizzard + tempest + earthquake will still clear out everything in a matter of seconds..

I also think that archers needs an upgrade badly, my rouge or mage can own any archer any day one on one so easily.

Enemy corpses now drop health poultices and money more appropriately, resulting in less clutter in the player's inventory.

What does this mean? Wishful thinking makes me hope that it means less health potion drops.

I'm positive about the spell nerfs since those spells are OP, now if someone could tell us in what way they were nerfed.

I hope that set bonuses and crossbows gets fixed in 1.03.
