[Fortack]

Vela Vasir is an unusual Asari. Banished from Thessia for slaughtering those who rejected her application to become a Spectre like her sister Tela (Vela's bloodthirstiness and unhealthy obsession with Krogan weaponry being the main reasons) turned her into a notorious mercenary. Today she's on Tuchanka looking for this junkyard varren who goes by the name of Commander Shepard. This Shepard is rumored to be ass-kissing the new clan leader which might give Vela the chance to finally avenge her sister's death.

Will Vela succeed? Does Shepard's story come to an unexpected end on Tuchanka or can Cerberus save Shepard's life once again?

I tailored the video to match the length of The Four Horseman, so if you got the track you can always play it when watching the video. You miss the great Claymore acoustics though

Just two things about her story.

Wouldn't the people who reject Spectre applicants be the council?
Claymore is not a Krogan weapon, just widely used by them.

Stasis + Claymore make a nice combo though, I just love the Claymore, such a beast with top tier equipment.

Was the game on bronze? I'd be curious to see how she'd do on Silver. Now I really want to make that character to play.

This are the first 6 waves on Gold (check the points for kills and credits for the first two objectives). If you think an Adept who scores 50 kills in the first 6 rounds (with 3 good players on the team) is "crippled" I'd love to see you play Asari Adept. The pew-pew pistol Adept is not the only way to have fun and be effective you know.

AFAIK it are the Asari, Turian, Humans and so on who propose potential Spectre candidates to the council first.

Yeah, Claymore is a beast. It can oneshot nearly anything and Stasis enables easy headshots and stops enemies from killing the squishy Asari too quickly. Cooldowns are not an issue, Stasis fields last longer than its cooldown and Warp & Throw are limited by the Claymore's reload speed anyway. Vela has Stasis on 6, Warp on 4 and Throw on 2.4 sec cooldown. That's perfect for this playstyle imo.

Saw the thread, tried Claymore on a Drell Adept. Now I am going to roll all adepts only with claymores. =)

You need a good team to be able to do it. When you join a match with 3 infiltrators or people who setup camp somewhere you're not going to last long in the open - you cannot do this on a solo run either. But when you have 2 or 3 other players running around, taking the fight to the enemy instead of being hunted down, aggro will be shared. If you manage to keep your flanks secure and/or avoid getting shot at from different agles you'll be fine most of the time.

Having said that, it will be risky and you will die a lot, but that's something I can appreciate. Playing close to invincible classes like the Kro- / Novaguard isn't fun for me. I also prefer blue people, but that's a different story

Have you tried the claymore on drell adept Fortack? Reave makes good aoe stun + extra damage to finish off enemies if they haven't died and if you skip pull completely and max cluster grenades they make awesome heavy biotic explosions. When you mix it with a claymore and drell fast movement speed... just nice. I never thought about it, it plays so well. =) And reave only has like 3.6 sec cooldown with a claymore if you take the recharge, and grenades don't even need to recharge. The pawnage!

No, I've only used the Claymore with the Asari so far, and, yeah, Reave is an excellent power that should work well too. I think I'll try Drells next time, thanks for the tip!

By all means do what ever you want and play the game as you see fit.

(Polite) Seen your video and I'm very not impressed. First of all it's against Cerberus which are all stasisable save for the atlas. You missed a fiar share of shots when enemy isn't in stasis. It didn't seem like you were a team player and you were kinda kill stealing so I would disregard your comment about having 50 kills in 6 waves. Plenty of times the justicar had them reaved but you opted to stasis them and shoot instead of detonating the justicars explosions. The most selfish one was when you had 3 reaved targets in front of you and you went for the grab then stasis. My guess is to boost your score.

A justicar and an AA are a very powerfull duo, which you appearently chose to ignore for what I can only say is your own benefit at the scoreboard.
Looks like you can hold your own, but to me it doesn't look like you are dependable.

If you really want to play an Asari with a shotgun, play the vanguard, she also has stasis, charge will restore your barrier and you have the grenades. I think it would suit your play style much better.

Who knows, we may do a match together, but I certainly won't play the justicar then.

That sounds fun, I'm gonna try that. Drell with GPS works very well because of the stagger.
