What happens when the truth is finally revealed? Who gets to deal with the fan base then?

Would there still be a sizeable fan base when the truth is finally revealed? If there is, community managers will take the first blunt of the attack. Jessica Merizan would probably just clam up. Priestly and Woo would go back to what they do best: mocking fans and removing threads.

Woo hasn't been around since that comment he made came back to bite him. So has the comment he made on Twitter.

I understand fully what's going on. The fanbase will fracture everything........

There are more ME games coming, they just won't be Shep's stories anymore.
And Destroy is the most logical 'canon' ending for savegames to be imported. How would you do a new game making two different sets of models for EVERYONE - normal organic and cyborg? And BW did say, I believe, to keep our ME saves

So synthesis goes right into the crapper where it belongs

I know there are more ME games coming, but Hudson (hurr hurr) said he wasn't interested in doing anything after ME3. Probably be a prequel.

And BW told us to keep our save to buy the DLCs (hurr durr), which from the way the story is structured, would be missions before the assault on Cronos.

And I disagree synthesis should be in the crapper. It isn't even worth the crapper, as it shouldn't have existed in the first place.

I'm not up to speed (though I'm aware of Bio devs and mods ripping on fans at times), what has Woo said?

I think it's time Mr Hudson worked on something else. I feel bad for him. The miscalculation he made is so bad people will never forget it.

I'm in awe. Awe.

I've worked with some pretentious artists before but they never EVER insulted the audience.

I under stand what Mike Gamble ment, but it is still stupid why bioware thinks that this would be a desirable thing to happen to the galaxy and why they think the fans would b accept such an ending. All the way through we have been told that the reapers and reaper forces are half organic/half synthetic so why the hell are we going to now do that to the whole galaxy????

Well what can we do? Bioware specifically promised a list of things, AFTER they've completed the game, and sent the game to beta testers (which are just a bunch of monkeys). After they failed to deliver what was promised, AND violated almost every single rule in the basic creative writing handbook, they proceed to mock the fans.

Instead of "we're very sorry, we'll fix it immediately" like every other business would do, they said, "we expect people to respect our artistic integrity, but for our more demanding customers, we'll be releasing some additional content to keep them happy."

Just look at the "Use a picture to describe the endings thread". He really, really had to eat his words.

I wish I could get across to them how much we hate it.

I don't envy them. They have a huge mess to clean up.

I'm still in awe at the miscalculation of marketability. It....I don't know.

lol we're all humans and we have no qualms killing each other, this utopian idea is truly pie in the sky.  If there is still free will afterwards I could choose to go around and start killing everyone and get like minded individuals to do the same how does synthesis solve anything?  I could make a new robot race if I felt like it and turn it loose on the galaxy, to reap and reap, synthesis is as dumb as it is unethical and immoral.

It's quite evident to me that people are not as up to speed as they should be on these kinds of things. Has no one ever read a book about the impossibility of Utopia? A book on psychology? Animal Farm?

Was my education not supposed to apply here?

Synthesis is appalling. No question about it.

The positive side of this is since BioWare consider the green space-rape beam to be the "good" ending they added the "shepard lives" easter egg to the red, or in this eyes, "bad" ending and thus thinking the choice between the two would be harder. "You can rape the galaxy if you want but then your Shepard has to die".
Oh gee, though choice there Bioware...

It's a no brainer for me. I choose red becuase there is no other alternative, and I get the Shepard lives bonus for free in the deal.

I'm sorry, but Bioware is just stupid on this point. Thinking synthesis is the best ending MAKES NO F***ING SENSE. PERIOD.

I'm sick and tired of the insinuation that synthesis is the best. IT IS NOT THE BEST, BIOWARE, GET IT THROUGH YOUR DAMN HEADS.

*ahem* Thank you.

Could we conceivably send Bioware 800 copies of Brave New World?

A new protest? Read the book!

LOL

Bumping this, synthesis is not a positive ending in any way. It's just vague and atrocious as it is.

It's a post describing his thoughts one how the endings weren't red, green and blue. The ending videos are labelled Red, Green and Blue. He dissappeared shortly there after.

People have EVERY right to criticize. EVERY right.

If you cannot criticize it, it is NOT art.

If you blend a human and tech and a turian and tech they will still be different. The only issue that synthesis would possibly solve would be that synthetics maybe would wipe out all organics. (Still there is no reason to think that thsi would ever happen, just stupid star kid logic) All other galactic issues would still exist along with war etc.

There is also no reason why the new organic/synthetic galaxy would not just create pure synthetics again and oh no back to war.

Got Copies of Brave New World, 1984, and 1985. But you can't blame them too much. they've not been told the truuth about living in the Eartern Euro Block during the Cold war and how much it sucked.
