Graal.

It has cross map range, does huge damage, can equip a bayonet on it, and it looks cool.

GPS for really laggy hosts.

Revenant or Phaeston for those rambo moments or on my human soldier.

The Valient

Very versitile sniper rifle. 3 shot clip that you can empty just before your cloak breaks(or at the very least get 2 shots off). Not as strong against boss type mobs as 1 shot sniper rifles, but much more effective against the lesser mob types. And with 3 shots it doesn't really matter if you miss one. With the fast reload speed it has, missing a shot matters even less. So to summ it up: fast, reliable and packs a punch. Maybe not a knock-out punch, but it does it's job very well. Perfect for my playstyle.

aside from stats, i would say Mattok cuz it packs a punch every hit and i love how it sounds especially on my 7.1 surround headphone *pang pang pang

Claymore
Paladin
Hornet

favorite: Widow, but it feels like a boring answer.  Still, it feels really good to get into the "zone/rhythm" and just decimate anything you aim at.

Phalanx was my go-to weapon a lot originally.

I think the Falcon is funny and fun, Striker too. 

Recently the Talon has grown on me.  That gun is a monster.


Phaeseton (sp?) has a cool sound.  Though I'd love a Javalin.  Thwwwweennnpp.

Oh, and Mattock is fun too.  Because it's like Matlock. A pleasantly goofy senile old man who can solve crimes with nonsensical clues.

I'm going to go against the grain and say that the Geth Plasma SMG and Phalanx are quickly becoming my favourite weapons. Oddly enough, my Phalanx is at VII while my Carnifex is at X. I like the Carnifex, but prefer the stability, accuracy, and capacity of the Phalanx.

Valiant. Using it has ruined my concern for accuracy, and I feel bad when I take like 4 shots and only hit with one, but the sustained DPS is wondiferous. Fast fire rate, near instant reload, good damage, tactical cloak bonus, fantastic gun.

Carnifex with Extended Barrel and Extended clip
GPS (Geth Plasma Shotgun) with Extended Barrel and Extended Clip

Mattock is very underrated - Its range, its accurate, and fires as fast as you can pull the trigger. Negligible recoil means good aim gets fast kills without added Equipment Mods on Silver

I like all the guns, only thing that's gotten really boring for me is using one of the powerful snipers. Too easy and not enough drama involved, haha. I'm the kind of guy that takes the Incisor to a gold match because it forces me to really put an effort in.

Always come back to my Saber X and my Claymore X though.

Scorpion VIII for the lolz.

N7 Crusader is fun, but a bit underwhelming at level 1.

Favorite is definitely the Vindicator. Light, does highly respectable damage, and is extremely accurate. Also, looks cool as all hell.

Widow, because sometimes one shot... is THREE KILLS.  Also shooting through walls to kill stuff is hilarious.

Black Widow is probably my actual favorite but the game refuses to let me have it and taunts me with it, because it's a mean jerk.

BW, Saber, Talon, Hurricane, Graal (YEs, over the GPS), Widow, Paladin, Phalanx, Claymore, Hornet. I don't have the Javelin and Scorpion.

Can't compare across gun types, so:

Pistol: Carnifex with the Phalanx a close second. (Don't have the Paladin to compare)
Shotgun: Not big on Shotguns, but the Katana for weight, Graal, GPS, or Claymore for punch
Assault Rifle: Vindicator is light and mean, I like it for the reasons daqs outlines above.
SMG: Tempest is the one I keep going back to, though the Hornet and GSMG aren't bad either.
Sniper Rifle: Valiant, Black Widow, Widow.

Perhaps I'm a bit too flexible on what I'll use.
