Valiant. It's a lighter and faster version of the black widow, and punishes you least for missing out o all the snipers due to it's fast reload speed.

I know it's not exactly the best gun in the world, but it's real satisfying to pull off headshots with the Javelin with the sound it makes and everything. Wouldn't burden my teammates by taking it past bronze though.

There are better pistols: I don't have them. I have all Shotguns and AR, but i have a Phalanx II. Why? WHY?

I used to hate shotguns. Then I started putting an upgraded Claymore on my Bat Soldier, and got a GPS for some other characters. Consider me a convert.

Man, I guess I'm going to be alone when I come out and admit: I love the Predator.

Sure, there are tons of better guns, but the Predator is good enough that you don't NEED any other guns on Bronze or Silver, it's light enough to let you spam your powers, it has decent enough ammo, it's fairly accurate and doesn't have a severe kick...And let's be honest here, any gun that fires as fast as you can click is a FUN gun to use. As a gun, it just has no real drawbacks. It's the middle of the line, perfect average gun for all occasions.

Every time I try a new character or a new build, I try it out with the predator only first.

BW on infiltrator, reason: well i got used to it
carnifex on adept and engineer, reason: good balancing between weight and dmg (still trying to get the paladin, that would be another option for me)
falcon when i lvl up characters/playing for fun on bronze/silver, reason: well good dmg, while lvling characters up, the powers don't really do dmg, so might as well have some fun

Phalanx and Tempest together..200% cooldowns and all the firepower you need really.
My Carnifex is slowly gaining ranks so maybe that will be my goto gun of the future,probably paired with a Geth smg.

Black Widow's my favorite, but I'm really starting to like the M-8 Avenger when I play H-Engineer, so definitely these 2 guns are at the top of my list.

Vindicator, the mighty punisher. I use ap barrel and stabilizer. I almost never go donw with a vindicator in my hands.

Phalanx, Carnifex, Eviscerator and Mantis (all of them Lvl X).

The Phalanx and Carnifex are both great side-arms to complement your primary weapons, the former as a backup weapon and the latter as a surrogate sniper-rifle or primary weapon if you carry no other weapon.

The Eviscerator is great and fun shotgun that bridges the gap for me between Katana and Claymore (don't have the Wraith) and with the recent buff it is even more powerful than before.

And the Mantis is the best Sniper Rifle in the game for me (don't have the Valiant).

I don't get the euphoric love for the Widow and Black Widow, I have both on Lvl III and I'll choose my Mantis any day; having all the Weapon Mods at max level I don't need the heavy sniper-rifles at all. If I had them at level X, well, things might be different, although I doubt I'd choose the greater encumbrance just to get 10 - 15% more base-damage.

I use all these weapons on Silver and Gold, btw.

 I like using the Mantis, Katana, Mattock, Raptor, Geth Plasma Shotgun, Disciple, Carnifex, Sabre, and occasionally the Collector Rifle. :-)

If the game only gave you one gun for all classes that you played, I'd have to go with the GPS-X.
