Also like a previous poster said I didn't see anything about fixing the bows. Can anyone confirm that shortbow(or archery in general) is still as useless as before?

Now, perhaps some of them are pretty tricky and take a while to fix; fair enough. But several items have not only been looked at but have had fixes posted on this very forum! At the very least I was expecting that the issues to which solutions had been found would have those solutions formalised in the patch. I don't want to be forever checking forum threads for workaround tips, I'd like it a little more official.

So, what about shortbows? Are they 50/50 str/dex like longbows? Anyone tried this out?
I was using the hotfix before and leliana's damage was 34ish with shortbow. (I went all dex). Now she is down to 26. I had to equip her with a better long bow, now, to get her damage up. Anyways, it kind of fits, because the way I was playing, a plain silverite shortbow was better for her than her unique Morjedilenes Recurve. (spelling) and that was weird to me.

That makes no sense, whatsoever....
What? You don't know that exploit with the darkspawn blood vials? You can go to Duncan and keep repeating that dialogue and not long you can reach up to level 25.

Very disappointed that nothing is done with the neverending loadingscreens and lagging though. This is happening with so many different systems, that it has to be the game to blame. It is also very odd that everything works well in 15-30 min, but then lagging and loading.
Would be great if Bioware could say something about this.
It would also be nice with more custom-options on the graphics. Like turning of special effects, shadows, visionscale ++ without downgrading the textures. Like in World of Warcraft.

most people have no dlc issues
Yeah, judging from the posts in this forum we can clearly see that.

Anyone else getting the AWC.dll "This game cannot load because of a misconfiguration" I tried the EADM fix that was posted for the 1.01 patch, but it's not working for me. I've uninstalled and reinstalled twice with no luck... It's quite frustrating
check the paths in \\Dragon Age\\Bin_Ship\\EACore_App.ini and make sure they point to real programs.
also if you are running Vista or 7, you can check C:\\Users\\<username>\\AppData\\Local\\VirtualStore\\ and delete anything Dragon Age related.
Also, when you uninstall Dragon Age, try uninstalling EA activation from the Control Panel.
Hope this helps.
